1. What are some techniques on how you can welcome the guests to make
them comfortable and safe?
Answer: Know the reservation for the day, try to remember the names of
the guest, particularly the regular guest, always address guest Sir/Madam,
if not by their names to show how important they are to the
establishment.
2. What are the service standard in menu presentation?
Answer: All beverage should be clean and in good condition, menu should
be at least 2/3 languages, menu must be presented to the guest open,
present menu in the guest table and open the first page, must have non-
alcoholic option in case hotel have the license to serve liquor at restaurant,
always point to any recommendation of house favorites, inform the guest
that you will take their order when ready, maintain eye contact and
approach at the appropriate time.
