ST access control system – installation
There are two parts in ST access control system
1. ST Server (Connection system):Resident software, be responsible to connect the
reader (hardware) and show out the connection status, include the parameters of
reader (hardware), download data ... and so on.

2. ST Maim (Management system):For database and information building and storage,


include door group, time zone, access records, network control, and data
import/export ... etc.
Communication:RS-485:by ST-485 or ST-Usb-485、TCP/IP:by ST-IP100A.
System require:Must install the RS-485 USB driver for 98 ~ XP or WIN7.
Notice:It needs MS Office (software) to import or export database in xls, cxv.
WIN ME and WIN VISTA allowed TCP / IP communication (ST-IP 100A) only.

Software installation steps:


1. Please put the ST Access control Disc into CD-ROM.
2. Double click the Setup.exe, following the notice to complete the installation process.

3. After installation finished, it will auto built St
Server and St Main at Desktop for quickly
start. Start path: Start Menu\ Programs\
Startup St Server and Start\ Programs\ ST\
St Server, St Main.
Program storage path:C: Program Files\ ST
folder. Database storage path: C: ST folder.
ST Server.exe will auto run when PC start, if
won’t, delete ST Server.exe at Start Menu\
Programs\ Startup.
4. The default login ID and Password for ST
Server, ST Main are both "ADMIN".

Login, Connect condition, and Controller Models checking
(Ensure to click Save after any removing, and click Edit before any edition.)
1. Run ST sever and Login by enter the ID & Password as “ADMIN”.

2. Click Edit, then you can


 Key in IP address (TPC/IP communication)
 Or Select the COM Port NO.
(RS-485 communication, need to check the COM Port NO. at Device Manager)

3. Select and Download the Controller NO. (Default: site 001) and check
 Connect Status.
"OK": connect well.
"M0023: disconnect ": abnormal connect or offline

Or click Read Model to read the controller’s Model and Firmware model for selected controllers.

4. Show the connect status of readers which under multiple door controllers,
 Site # 01 - # 16.
"O": Connect Well.
"X": Disconnect or Offline.
" - ": Not selected readers.

Download Time:Correct the time to computer time.
Download Data:After edit at ST Main, the card information,
door group…etc. can download to controllers.

Parameter:As next follows
Minimal:Reside the program
Exit:Logout and exit
Read Model:To read the controller’s Model and Firmware model from all selected controllers.

(Controller) Parameter
Controller parameters settings and download to the readers as followers
(Select controller site and, Ensure the Model NO. is correct, or it could wrongly download.)
Exit:Quit and exit controller parameter settings.

Connection and Transmission:


Controller NO.:To select the controller site, and then can read parameter from controller.

Or click Restore Now for selected Card Info.

Quick Key Network control:


Open Door Relay:Open the door (relay) by software.
Open Extend Relay:Activate the extensive function (extend relay) by
software.
Reset Anti-Pass-Back:Reset anti-pass-back status for all cards.
Stop Fire Control:Release the fire control linking (open all doors) after
fire arm.
Quit Arm Mode:Release the security arm (extend relay).
Set Arm Mode:Activate the security arm (extend relay).

Range Parameters:
Assign Controller NO.:Modify controller Site NO. (From 001~254, unique NO. accept only)
Master Code (6 digitals):Edit the password for enter programming mode. (Default: 123456)
Emergency Code (6 digitals):Edit the password for HELP message sending (extend relay) while
Opening the door. (This function only work at the “Card and Password” Access Mode)
Entry Password (4 digitals):Edit the password to activate (open) door relay.
Card Count:The number of cards information storage in controller.
Extend Function:Show out extend function as 0 = elevator control, 1 = camera linking, 2 = other.
Repeat Card interval:Prevent repeat reading. It can set 001 to 255 seconds, 0 = no interval.

Time Parameters:
Door Relay Sec. (0-255):The door relay running time. It can set 0.15 to 250 seconds, 000 =
Relay Status keeping ON/OFF each time sensing, 251 = 0.15s, 252 = 0.3s …etc.
Open Overtime Sec. (0-255):After open door, the door unlock over time alarm, 0 = no alarm.
Arm Delay Sec. (0-255):The time delay to activate system arm.
Alarm Delay Sec. (0-255):The time limit to release condition, after detect the condition to alarm,
if need.
Alarm Sec. (0-255):The alarm running time, 0 = keeping alarm.
Elevator Relay Sec. (0-255):The elevator control board running time. (As RS-485 extend
function)

Display Title:To set the reader’s title at LCD display controller, and download to the reader.
Master Card:There are two spaces for master card setting, after reading the master cards, could
Append (new cards) From Sense and enter programming mode directly. (Master cards cannot use
to open door)
Security Cards:There are five spaces for security card setting and set by card NO. Press 99*,
wait for two beeps, and then reading security card, could activate extend relay.
Security Cards Range:Set security cards by the specified range of card sequence.
Controller Free Access Time Zone:There are three spaces to set door unlock time zone.
Elevator Free Access Time Zone:There are two spaces to set free control time zone of elevator.

Yes / No Parameters:
Anti Pass Back:With the extend reader, to make an anti-pass back system (setting).
Force Entry Alarm:Force opening door alarm setting.
Keypad Lock:Lock the keypad, and release by click both*,#. And will auto lock after 30
seconds.
Door Bell Enabled:Activate the door rang or not.
Auto lock:Lock the door automatically, when close the door. (Door reed sensor)
Dual Doors control:With the extend relay/reader, to make dual doors access control. (Cannot
work with alarm function, use the same extend relay)
Succor with Open Door:Sending HELP message function (Emergency Code) with Opening
door or not.
Force Entry, Open Overtime Alarm:Alarm when detect forced open or over time open door.
Record To Attendance:Specify the access record of selected controller as attendance record.
Sense Detect:Activate the in-ground sensor by linking the door reed function.
Fire Control Status:Activate the fire control linking.
Any Card Pass:Access any card or not. (Hardware setting only)
WG26 [V] / WG34:Display card NO. With code WG 26 or code WG 34.
Display (0-WG, 1-Decimal):Display card No. With 8H10D (ABA) code or Weigand code.
Backlit constant:Keep backlit constant bright or not.
Access Only: LCD display attendance (shift differ) or access only
Chinese Interface:Programming in Chinese interface or English interface.
Programming Mode (0-Menu, 1-Command):Operate in Menu mode or Command mode.

ST Maim (Management system)
Login, Software setting, System settings, and User permission
Login ID & Password as “ADMIN”, for safety, change the password at system\Change Password.

System Code:Default some selectable items


for database easily building, such as Position,
Department Education, (Leave) Reason, and
Software User Group, Could add and edit.
Select item  Edit description  Save.

Account Setting:Add and Edit the system


Login account and password.
System Permission:Set User permission after
edit at system code\user group.
System Parameter:See as next follows.
Change Password:Edit the password of login
account.

Path Setting:Set the path of database (ST folder) storage. (For


recover and outside storage, ensure to back-up the database.)

System Parameter
Management function, extensive function, and the parameter setting

Language:Select your language.


Management mode:English module is under construction.
Card Code [WG/8H10D]:It can switch the Card Code, Card NO. display and storage in database.
(Default: WG Code, ensure it would match the controller parameter)
Simulate Door Group:
Simulate DoorGroup:Set not allowed Door Group as CARD ERROR, from DOOR ERROR.
(Less Door Group using)
Download:Download to all controllers or to the accessed controllers only.
Auto start Access Record:Open the Access
Record page when run ST Server.
Open door at Access Record:Enable to open
door (relay) at Access Record page.
ST Sever Alarm:Enable the system alarm
(screen jump out) linking with controllers’ alarm.
Card Capacity:User capacity, please be follow
the feature differ of controllers.
Auto Adjust Time:Adjust time for connected
controllers.

Software Feature – Card Access Information Managemnet
To set particular Access Control for each Cards (no controllers different)

Card Info Edit, Import  Management Download to Controllers  (Report) Export format

Card Info
Card Info:Access Identify Column
(Ensure to click Save after any edit)
Card Sequence:The location that card located and storage. Each card should choose and
assigned unique location and fill information.
Card NO.:The Card number show and edit as 8H10D (ABA) code or Weigand code, both
identifiable. (Setting edit at system parameter setting)
Access Mode:Select the option of Access Mode. (No Access, Card Only, Card or Password,
Card and Password, Patrol Card)
Pass Period:Allowed pass period.
Anti-Pass Back:Enable the anti-back setting.
Password:4 digit personally (card holder) individual password.
Door Group:Select the option of Door group. (Edit at Access group setting)
Time Zone:Select the option of Time Zone group, could show in uniform (time zone) setting only.
(Edit at controller Access group setting)
Elevator Group:Select the option of Elevator group, could show in uniform (floor) setting only.

Card Info:Query column
Name:User’s name.
Emp. NO.:User’s employee number.
Card NO., Door Group, Time Zone, Elevator Group
Query operate:Fill the data (part or full) at column, and press F1 or click Query to start. Multiple
queries supported.

1. Select Controllers, or click Select All (Ensure the well connection and controllers selected
and Save (Cannot download when Editing) at ST Server)
2. Download all or download by selected Function
Time (adjust), Time Zone (group), Door Group, Holiday, Card (access & Information),
Elevator (group), Nick Name LCD display, (Pass) Period, or tick Download All.
3. Click Download to download data to controllers.

Export Format
Report export by individual setting and common report export
Format Setting:
Export by selected period, time format, controller, and attendance record.
Export Items:
Export access records (10 columns) by your demand in selected period of time.
Export Setting:
Edit the export file path, name, format, and file title, file end, length of block, enclose symbol,
insert character, and Auto export setting.
Export:Export files and then Click Save for current setting.

Software Feature – Controllers (Access) Group Setting
To set particular Access for Cards (holders) by particular Doors, Time, and Floors
Door Group, Holiday Access, Time Zone Group, Elevator Group

Access

Holiday Access:
1. Select Year.
2. Select for Sunday and Saturday holiday. (For Each, Odd, Even)
3. Select individual holiday by double click the Day column.
4. Holiday Assign:After Save, go to Download page and download holiday to Controllers.
(Shift Monthly setting in Attendance system will skip the holiday that you set.)

Door Group Setting:
1. Edit Door Group (description):Edit the Door (description) and Door Group description.
2. Select the Allowed Controllers:Individual controllers allowed, multiple door controllers
allowed, or copy the group for additional edit.

Time Zone (Group) Setting:Default: Uniform setting
1. Edit Time Zone:Edit the Time Zone description.
2. Holiday Access Allow:Holiday entrance allowed if need.
3. Pass period setting:Set pass period from Monday to Sunday individually or Apply All week.

Elevator Group Setting:Default: Uniform setting
1. Edit Elevator Group:Edit the Elevator (floor) Group description.
2. Select the Allowed Floors:Individual floor allowed or multiple floors allowed.

1. After uniform Time Zone Setting
2. Switch to Individual Time Zone setting at Access\Time Zone Setting\Download Time Zone\

i. Set Time Zone individually by Controller. (Site):
Select Controller (Site) and assign Time Zone in all Card Sequence

Elevator Group Setting:Individual setting
1. After uniform Elevator Group Setting.
2. Switch to Individual Elevator Group setting (Save) at
Access\Elevator Group Setting\Elevator Floor Setting\Elevator Floor Name\
3. Edit the description for other Elevators (Controllers) and their Floors.
4. Edit new elevator (floor) group and description, if need.

i. Set Elevator Group individually by Elevator Name (Controller) and Card Sequence:
Access\Elevator Group Setting\
Double click the column of selected Elevator Name (Controller) and Card Sequence
and then, assign the Elevator (floor) Group NO., which you want.

Card Sequence batch setting (assigned) by selected Elevator Name (Controller),

Select Elevator Name (Controller), or set at uniform setting, and assign Floor at Card.
(Sequence), or Tick the floor that you want. (Click Default Floor setup to sync with

Software Feature – Network Control
Network Access Control, Live Access Record and E-Map
Card Info input:Network input the card Info by Card NO., and download to controllers, if need.

Access Record
Access Record:Show out access Live info, access record Query, and Network control.
Access Info Column:
Access Date, Access Time, Controller NO., Card Sequence, Emp. NO., Name, Card NO., and,
Shift ID:Display working shift status. (Connect to Attendance setting)
Attendance:Specify the access record as attendance record or not.
Info:Record ID.
Status:Access status
Client NO.:The controllers NO., which under multiple door controllers
User photo:Select the record to show user’s photo and more access information.
Live photo Capture:Need work with PC photo capturer. (English module is under construction.)

Client NO.:The controllers NO., which under multiple door controllers
Status:Reading condition
:Need work with PC photo capturer. (English module is under construction.)
Fill the data at column, click Query to start. Multiple queries supported.

R=Open Door:Double click R can open the door
(Activate in Green light on)
O=Open External Relay:Double click O can open external relay the door
(Activate in Blue light on)
D=Door sensor detects:Detect the door reed sensor.
(Arm in Red light on)
Multiple door controller:Show out another 16 blocks, double click can activate their relays.

E-Map
E-Map Setting:
Upload the Map:Arrange access control area by floor differ, building differ, or sector differ.
Draw and Drop:Select the door  select the map  Save  Drag the door to correct Location.
E-Map detect:Tick Auto show Map, and then could auto display the Map and door when
activating.

E-Map Control:Double click the door (photo) to open the door. (Activate in Green light on)

Software Feature – Attendance System
Holiday Setting, (Day) Shift Setting, (Week, Month) Shift Setting, Shift Schedule, and Report

1. Holiday Setting:Follow the Access\Holiday Access\


Holiday can set up to 2 years.
Each Year can set holidays up to 150 day.
Please preset holiday before New Year.

2. (Day) Shift Setting:Edit the shifts’ day description and duty times.
Shift ID:Serial Shifts NO.
Description:Enter the shifts’ name.
Shift On:Enter time for duty on.
Shift Off:Enter time for duty off.
Break Time from:Enter time for start Rest
Break Time to:Enter time for Finish Rest
Overtime Begin:Enter time that overtime Begin (If no Overtime setting, MUST set 23:59)
Across Day:Auto select if duty is day crossed.
Deduct Rest Time:Y or N
Flexible:Y or N (give flexible duty time)
Flex Time:Enter the flexible time limit. (Late judgment, or shift off extend by flexible shift on)
(Ensure to Save after edit.)

3. Schedule Setting:Edit the weekly and monthly shift schedule.
i. Week Shift Setting:Assign day duty (Shift Setting) in weekly shift schedule.
Edit the Shift ID and Description.
Set Shifts NO. (Shifts (day) Setting) individually for whole week.

ii. Month Shift Setting:Assign day duty (Shift Setting) in monthly shift schedule.
Edit the Shift ID and Description.
 Fixed Shift setting:
Fill the Shifts NO. (Shifts (day) Setting) in Fixed Shift column, and then click Fixed
Shift to apply whole month.

 Routine cycle of days (1~7) setting:


Fill the Shifts NO. (Shifts (day) Setting) in Routine column, and then click Routine to
apply whole month as days cycle.

4. Employee (Card Sequence) assign:
i. Set Shifts (day) schedule individually:Attendance\Shift Schedule\
Select year and month, and then click Shift Schedule to modify employees.
Tick/Assign Sequence you want
 Double click the column of selected Day and Card (Sequence), and then assign the
Shifts NO., ((Day) Shift Setting) that you want.
 Fixed Shift Batch Setting for whole month
Fill the Shifts NO. in Fixed Shift column, tick Holiday Rest (Default holiday skip) if
need, and then click Fixed Shift to assign whole month. (Holiday setting edit in
Access page)
 Routine Batch Setting for Cycle of Days (1~7)
Fill the Shifts NO. in Routine column and then click Routine to assign whole month as
days cycle.

ii. Set Shifts (weekly, monthly) schedule by


Card Sequence:Card Info\Attendance
Card Assign:After Save, go to Card Info
page and assign Shift ID (weekly, monthly
Schedule Setting) in Card Sequence.

Shift schedule:Click to display the default schedule. (if assign new Schedule and Shift ID,
it needs to click Shift schedule Again after Delete their old ones)
Holiday Rest:Tick holiday skip if need.

(Attendance) Report
Daily Attendance Report:Attendance Report by selected Date
Query column:Report Date, Department, Status (1. Arrive Late 2. Leave Early 3. Only Arrive)
Name, Emp. No., Reason (Multiple queries supported.)

Could modify Duty Begin, Duty End, Reason1,
Reason2, Working Hour, overtime, Working
Hour Amount, Attend Begin, Attend End.
Modify, Cancel Modify, and Recalculate:
i. By selected Date for all employees’
attendance records

modify the attendance record of
selected employee NO.
iii. Clicks confirm to recalculate.
iv. Modify column display
