ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT

SYSTEM OF DISTRIBUTION
AND RETRIEVAL OF SLMs
MONTH OF SEPTEMBER
SY 2021-2022

I. RATIONALE
To make sure that learning remains unhampered DepEd has been
implementing a distance learning approach. A learning delivery mode where
interaction takes place between the teacher and the students who are
geographically remote from each other during instruction because of this the
Department of Education (DepEd) crafted the Basic Education Learning
Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) that featured different learning modalities to ensure
safety among the different stakeholders. Prior to the opening of classes in
September 13, 2021, the San Vicente Elementary School conducted the Virtual
Parent/guardian Orientation to strategize their implementation of distance
education. But still, different challenges were encountered, specifically in
distributing and retrieving of modules.

First was the lack of printed modules due to shortage of bond paper and
availability of printers. Second was the majority of teachers shoulders the
materials needed in the reproduction of modules intended for 2 weeks. Third
and lastly was the coming of enrollees that are not officially enrolled. However,

as an educator, it is important to deliver quality education to the learners

despite the lapses mentioned.

Considering that a student’s academic and all-around development is not

just up to the school. These challenges in the distribution and retrieval of
modules led teachers to conduct the HPTA meeting and organize their Officers
so that they would have partners to provide all the materials needed in
reproduction of modules.

II. ROSTER OF ACTIVITIES

considered. In system of distribution and retrieval of SLMs the following steps

modules and submitted the output

III. IMPACT

A. To the Teachers
In this Modular Learning Delivery Modality teachers rose to the
challenges and adopted to this system with collaboration and good
communication channels as the key to champion the cause for quality
education amidst this pandemic.

B. To the Parents
Though it is the second year of implementation of Modular Learning
Delivery Modality some parents are still not able to follow the system of
distribution and retrieval. They don’t come to school on the scheduled time.
This system of distribution and retrieval also made parents become more
conscious in following safety protocols since teachers keeps on reminding
them.
