work out the DQ.

Students then interview people of their grandparents’ generation, create their own
audio / video and add interesting commentary - including research of how and why
some dialects and regional languages are slowly dying. Or even how English has
become so pervasive that people have a hard time remembering the native word
of some English words used every day. Alternatively students can challenge their
friends / neighbours / family to speak in their mother tongue for one minute about
some common everyday occurrence without once using the English language.
Then they research on how and why languages slowly vanish.

of the need to speak our mother tongue more often?

people (grandpas and grandmas, men, women, girls and boys) are represented.

are different.

Driving Question: I and my team would like to help the fellow beings who have
innovated and come up with original ideas. We would like to make them aware of
the Intellectual Property Rights and patent that innovation exclusively for
being the right owner of the product/ideas.
Students do a case study with product copyrights and where to file the case in
such a situation. Spread awareness through street play/presentation/symposium.

other public spaces. Look for places that are disabled friendly and those that are
not. What are the challenges they face?

Driving Question: How can my group members and I design a city / school /
neighbourhood / personal dwelling that is inclusive, barrier free and fully accessible
to those that face challenges of mobility, vision or hearing?

Modus Operandi: Take on the role of a disabled for a day. Try navigating around
your home/ neighbourhood. Write a journal detailing the challenges you faced.
Group members together design a living space for the disabled and then create a
video montage of their narrative.

information and present as an infographic.

Lockdown.
Driving Question: The team and its members would like to study and research
UNESCO's Resili Art which aims to engage and enhance the initiatives taking
place in the Gulf countries esp.by female artists/ dancers/ musicians and
performers.
Mode of research: We will study the Gulf as well as other countries which have
joined hands in this effort We will create an e- report/ an e- brochure using
photoshop on any 1 country and its musicians who have created innovative
solutions involving music, song and dance to allow themselves and maintain social
ties amidst travel restrictions.
We will interview dance teachers to find more information/groups/ musicians, study
articles and prepare our e report/ e brochure after choosing a country of
interest.We will also present our findings in the form of a short musical act which
may be showcased on the school website.

My team and I would like to explore if academic achievement is the only

Why are Indian students generally made to curtail their interests in art /
dance/sports, etc as they reach Higher Secondary and instead are expected
to join integrated courses (IIT/NEET/CA)?

perhaps a little something they'd enjoy discovering...

a) Interview/communicate with senior citizens in your locality and find out


what keeps them going? How do they spend their time/how do they
overcome loneliness? Do they have hobbies that help them relax and

Since old age is inevitable shouldn’t students today be encouraged to


develop hobbies that have no age bar?

There’s no dearth in creativity amongst the Indians. Be it a student (college/
university) or any other person with a spark to create something. Proper
advertising and branding is what lacks in India. How does the ‘Make in India’
campaign support this issue? (Livano) Stay away from the political angle.
Also, there has to be a relevant need why a S would want to take this up.

58. Women in Sports- India still needs to provide better and proper facilities
and opportunities to the girls. Motivation from the family and peer group is
also a decisive factor. Refer to films like- Chak de India, Dangal, Saina,
Panga, etc.

girls in sports and the detriments that bind their way to success.
