STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
I, Anmoldeep Singh, am an inhabitant of H.NO 9/13, Gali no. 1, Muslim Ganj,
Amritsar(Punjab). My passport no. is U5684249 and date of birth is 18 TH, January, 2001.
I completed my secondary Education (10th) in May, 2018 from The Modern High School accredited from central board of secondary education, Amritsar scoring 62%. Later, I pursued my Senior Secondary education (12th) and completed it in May, 2020 from The Modern High School accredited from central board of secondary education, Amritsar scoring 69.2% under 'commerce' stream. To enhance my computer skills, I have completed my diploma in computer application from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar in 2021 with 83%.
I Belong to Business Family, my both parents are running their own business, they are my inspiration. I also want to become a successful businessman. This is the reason I choose commerce stream in my senior secondary. The completion of commerce stream made me think of pursuing the field of what to study next and in its relation; I chose a course named 'General Business' from Niagara College – Welland Campus, Canada. I wanted the course which could be fulfilling and innovative at the same time. Therefore, I decided to choose the intended course.
To complete the eligibility criteria and prove my language efficiency skills, I
underwent an IELTS exam and had the Overall Band Score as 6 by scoring 6.0 in listening, 6.5 in reading, 6.0 in writing and 6.0 in speaking. To pursue a like course like an intended course, I believe that we need to have an exposure with the combination of high quality education therefore I decided to pursue my further education abroad.
WHY NOT INDIA FOR FURTHER EDUCATION?
In India, some of the top Institutes that offer this programme are Institute of Management Studies, Noida International University, Indian School of Business Management, ISME school of Management and Entrepreneurship, but their courses mostly are of one year with course content with few topics to be covered and also not recognized globally. Cost of education in Canada is Around CAD 15000 to CAD 20000 for a year (based on average cost in Public Colleges) which is not difficult for an Indian Family to afford who keeps on saving money for their children since their birth. So instead of getting admission into average level institutions, I decided to pursue quality education from overseas although it would cost me more than it is in India. My parent’s opinion is, education is not an expenditure, it’s an investment on child to secure their future. So they supported my idea to study in Canada just because of quality issue, no matters it would weigh heavy on their pockets. WHY CANADA Canada is considered a wealthy, high-tech industrial country with an exceptional standard of living. The cost of living and tuition fees are generally low as compared to other countries. A Canadian degree, diploma or certificate is globally recognized as being equivalent to those obtained from the United States or other leading countries. Under Canada’s highly dynamic and hands-on academic environment, I will not only acquire knowledge and skills in analysis and communication, but I will also learn how to express myself, demonstrate my creativity, and develop self- confidence.
Why Niagara College:-
I asserted number of colleges and universities on internet and after comparing all of them, I decided to apply in Niagara College. There are many reasons for opting for this prestigious institute. The main reason is that it is one of the designated learning intuitions in Canada. According to this www.canada.ca with reputation for excellence in applied learning and student services. I like the fact that this college always finds out some innovative ways to teach and provide knowledge to students. The college organizes study workshops and peer tutors to support students academically. A part from academic achievements I have seen on the website that this college often organizes creative activities for students. In recent, Niagara college teaching brewery wins three medals at provincial words and Niagara - welland campus hub wins interior design award of excellence also.
Besides, the list of support services goes on and on but the point is to be noticed is that it is dedicated to work towards the welfare of the students and make them rise with every passing day. The availability of Accessibility place, co-op office and The Place are the most fascinating and appreciable points contributing in the development of a student while it attracts thousands of students from around the world and makes things to be dealt with easily. The rich experience at the college further leads to an attractive and rich personality therefore paces up the growth of our career too and we keep cherishing the experience throughout our lifetime.
About the course - General Business:
The intended course is the one I am passionate about. The passion had been into this sector forever but it got doubled with the completion of my Senior Secondary (12th) and the availability of the main stream course. The course is designed specifically by keeping in mind the requirement of the society and their certain specific needs. This field of study is ideal for those students who want to leave themselves open to many career choices within business. The recommended plan of study includes classes in economics, accounting, statistics, organizational, behaviour, critical reasoning, human resource management and more. General business provides students with the flexibility to study within various business disciplines while customizing a plan of study that works with your interests and career goals.
All the required skills are to be transmitted during the course and helps us to perform with excellence in real world. The designing of the course is done purely by keeping in mind all the factors and being taught by the professionals adds to our performance and knowledge. However, it heads to a life of purpose while the purpose of life is to live a life filled with purpose.

Although my long term goal is to go for my own business set up, but before that, I will complete my further studies till Post graduation and will get some work experience.
It's true that the completion of the course will lead me to various exciting places to work at and be associated as desired but the fact of being excited to be working at single place is no secret because the motive behind everything stays same. The bottom line stays similar that we get an opportunity to be in service of the society which requires us the most therefore it's all the same and serves us with same satisfaction. The decision to choose one makes me get down to the decision of choosing 'Management consultant'.
The reason behind to get fascinated towards it is that it seemed to be the most sensitive and positive environment where the things are meant to be little more challenging and asks for patience level. The process of this study will enhance the quality of my life thereby coming back to my home country is an assured decision.

I have already paid my 1-year tuition fees $16,060 and 1 yr. living expenses $10,025 in ICICI bank.
