AOC Two Port Network Lab Report (Template)

This laboratory report details an experiment to analyze two-port networks. Measurements were taken of currents and voltages in T-network and π-network configurations under varying voltage supplies. The results were used to calculate the z-parameters for the T-network and y-parameters for the π-network. These calculated values were then compared to theoretical parameters derived from the component resistances to verify the two-port models. Discussion focuses on comparing measurement and calculation results and factors affecting outcomes.

1. Understand the concept of two port network.

2. Verify the parameters of a two port network using experimental result.
3. Relate the experimental result with the theoretical calculated values.

EQUIPMENT LIST
1. Power supply
2. Ammeter
3. Voltmeter
4. Resistors with different values (𝑅1 = 1000𝛺, 𝑅2 = 2000𝛺, 𝑅3 = 3000𝛺)

PROCEDURE
T-Network Verification (z-parameter)
1. T-Network was constructed as shown in Figure 1.
