Louis J. DiBerardinis, MS, CIH,
CSP is an Instructor in Industrial
Hygiene in the Department of
Environmental Health at the
Harvard T.H. Chan School of
Public Health and the Director of
Environment, Health and Safety at
Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Mr. DiBerardinis has been a visiting lecturer at
the Harvard T.H. Chan School since 1986, where
he teaches in several graduate courses and
continuing education programs. Mr. DiBerardinis
has been affiliated with MIT since 1989 and with
Harvard since 1970. In 1976, Mr. DiBerardinis
established and directed the Industrial Hygiene
Program within Harvard University Health Services.
Richard D. Fulwiler, ScD,

CIH, FAIHA is an Instructor
at the Harvard T.H. Chan
School of Public Health and
President of Transformational
Leadership Associates, a
consultancy that specializes
in improving individual and organizational
effectiveness. Dr. Fulwiler had a 28-year career at
Procter & Gamble, retiring as Director of Health
and Safety Worldwide. During his tenure, Procter
& Gamble achieved broad recognition for its
health and safety excellence, as well as for having
developed a comprehensive behavior-based
management system leading to world-class results.
