    VOTE OF THANKS

    John F. Kennedy had said,” as we express our gratitude, we must not forget that the highest
    appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them”.

    Respected Chief Guest Shri Prashanta Mondal, Additional District Magistrate, Paschim Burdwan,
    Honorable Managing Trustee Mr Pratik Goenka sir, Respected Principal sir Mr R.D. Sharma,
    learned teachers and my dear students. It is my privilege to propose the vote of thanks on the
    grand occasion of the 5th Annual Day function- Navras of Delhi Public School, Asansol.

    As we now have reached to the end of this beautiful celebration, I, Suchandra Guhathakurta, on
    behalf of Delhi Public School Asansol fraternity, would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our
    esteemed Chief Guest Shri Prashanta Mondal. The two words ‘Thank you’ are not enough to
    appreciate you sir, who despite his busy schedule has found time to grace this occasion. Thank
    you once again sir. Your gracious presence has made this event a memorable one.

    Our heartfelt gratitude to our Guest of honour, Mr Dipankar Ghosh, renowned mountaineer &
    Tenzing Norgay Awardee, an inspiration for all, who has kindly agreed to grace this occasion.

    I would like to take this opportunity to convey my deepest gratitude to our Honorable Managing
    Trustee Mr Pratik Goenka Sir, for taking his invaluable time out of his busy schedule. We are
    honoured to have you with us sir. We unitedly thank you for your concern and unstinted support
    for this institution. Your constant supervision will help the school to reach newer horizons of
    success. Thank you once again sir.

    Respected Principal sir, your suggestions about newer methods of teaching, your dedication,
    perseverance always inspire us. We are blessed to have a leader like you. On behalf of the entire
    DPS Asansol family, I thank you for your uplifting leadership and work ethics.

    “Children learn more from their parents than from their teachers.” Indeed parents are the
    maiden guide for children. We thank you all for your excellent cooperation and for being the key
    players in our success story.

    I must also mention our deep sense of appreciation for all our supporting staff for their
    involvement and willingness to take on the completion of tasks beyond their comfort zone.
    Thank you everyone.

    Finally, I thank the blooming buds of Delhi Public School Asansol for their brilliant presentation
    today. You have truly put in your heart and soul into your delightful performance. Thank you.

    Thankfulness is the beginning of gratitude, and gratitude is the completion of thankfulness. Yes,
    once again I thank each and every one present here for your commitment and cooperation
    towards the building up of this great temple of learning. May the Almighty continue to bless us
    all.
