• Step 1 − Takes data as input.

• Step 2 − Stores the data/instructions in its memory and uses them

Bit and Byte Relation

• A bit is a binary digit, the smallest increment of data on a computer.

A bit can hold only one of two values: 0 or 1, corresponding to the
electrical values of off or on, respectively.
• bit = short for “binary digit”, i.e. 0 or 1
• byte = Group of bits that represent something “bigger”, for example
an integer or a character.
• Most computers nowadays have eight bits to form a byte, but in the
advent of computers many other forms were used. Eight bits to the
byte is simply an established convention.
• RAM?
• RAM is an acronym for “Random Access Memory.”
• It’s the most common type of memory storage for modern computers and
smartphones.
• What are its functions? Well, it’s a bit like Christmas lights:
• Function of ram is storing app data,
• stores bits of information within itself for the short-term. In fact, the RAM acts as
the working memory for devices.

• ROM?
• ROM stands for "Read Only Memory". It is a type of non-volatile memory used in
smartphones, computers, and other electronic devices. Data stored in ROM can
only be read, we can not alter or overwrite on it.
• Currently, most of the smartphones are equipped with 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, or
even 128GB, 256GB large ROM.
E-mail
• Gmail or Google Mail is a free email service introduced by Google. It
allows sending and receiving mails over the Internet.
