M = Matt, K = Katie

M What do you want to do in the future, Katie?

K Well, if I do well in my exams, I’ll go to university
next year and study English.
M Oh, yes? Then will you become an English teacher?
K No. I want to become a famous writer – I love
writing stories.
M Do you want to travel?
K Yes, and I’m a bit of a daredevil, so I want to do
something difficult and scary. You know, walk across
the Sahara Desert or ski down Mount Everest –
something like that. What about you, Matt?
M Well, I love tennis and I want to become a
professional tennis player.
K Oh? Have you won any trophies?
M Yes I have, but not very many. I hope I’ll win more in
the future, if I don’t get any injuries. One of my
friends could play really well when he was younger,
but he’s injured his arm and he can’t play now.
K Oh, that’s a pity.
M Yes, but you never know, if I train hard, maybe I’ll
become a champion one day!
