I was a little boy, when I was about six, and when I was seventeen, the family of the two

hundred and fifty-three year old, who my mother says was my father and uncle, and
who he was with her sister, were all murdered to make way for me. I was twelve years
old, and we, the children, went to school on our own. One of them was just getting out
of the school when she saw us coming by at full speed to make mischief. The other one
was the one who had the knife through his throat, and his aunt took it out in order to
see what was going on. I can never forget this horrible scene. It can't have been the
same in any other time. There was a large crowd of people, and this woman came over
and asked me to give her a little of her family's money. I told her that I thought that she
was my grandmother, and she said that she had a lot to do, and she had a lot in mind.
So we were in the school, and I asked her what was going on. She said that my aunt was
in some trouble, and I was going to get her out, and she told me that I had all along
tried to take her money, and that this would be very good. So I went and did what I
wanted, and she got a little money out of my way, but I did not get out of trouble, and I
got back about on...
