Multiple Regression.

Reganam Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of household laundry detergent and bleach
products. About a year ago, the company introduced its new Power Detergent in 30 outlets following its
success in test markets. This detergent contains power bleach, a successful laundry ingredient
developed in its own right. At the time of the introduction, management wondered whether the
company could successfully create the laundry market dominated by Procter & Gamble and Unilever.
The following data shows weekly demand data for Power Detergent in these 30 outlet/markets.

Requirements:

a. Using regression analysis, regress each of the independent variables with the dependent variable-
QD
b. Develop the regression equation of each of the relationship in (a) and interpret results.

c. Perform multiple regression between the dependent and independent variables.

d. Interpret the coefficient estimate for each respective independent variable.
e. Perform correlation analysis (R-squared, F-test, t-test) and interpret results.
