Areas of Experience

QA/QC Inspector Role:

 Carry out Quality inspections in co-ordination with the consultant’s representative, engineers &
inspectors for various underground utilites system.
 Carry out inspeciton at site for various wet underground utilities, which includes surface water
drainage, Treat seweage effluent, Potable water, Foul sewer network. Ensure that the work is
carried out in accordance with the approved ITP, starting from formation level, bedding and
geotextile installation, pipe laying, Initial test, aggregate surround and Geotextile overlapping,
thurst block as required, backfilling etc.
 Inspection of the Initial and final air test of the surface water drainage line and foul sewer line for
gravity lines and hydrostatic pressure test for pressure lines such as TSE and Potable water.
 Inspection for various manhole casting, starting from Steel reinforcement, formwork,
waterstopper, and casting of the Manhole base and wall.
 As directed by Site QA/QC Engineer, witness on-site inspection with Site Engineers, Sr. Site
Engineer / Section Manager and Supervising Consultant to ensure quality of the construction work
performed and checklists are prepared, signed off by all for reference.
 Monitors the receipt and storage of materials arriving on-site and co-ordinate for on time
inspection of materials.
 Conducts surveillances and inspection of the work, monitors the implementation of the quality
control procedures and coordinates field sampling and testing for verification of quality results as
needed.
 Read and understand Inspection Test Plan (ITPs) and Project / QCS specifications
 Discuss with Site Engineer about Site Inspection results such as FDT, Fresh Concrete QC Checks
and laying of Asphalt..etc
 Conduct internal trainings to Lab skilled works and record for further improvements.
 Co-ordinate with Material, lab Engineer, Internal Quality Auditors as and when required by Site
QA/QC Engineer, Project QC Manager.
 Ensure material submittals got approved before start of work and take necessary actions to fulfill
approval conditions in co-ordination with concerned Material Supplier and Manufacturer.
 Ensure Lab test reports (On-site lab, Off-site lab tests), all documents filing, tracking in order to
meet Audit requirements and for traceability on a daily basis.

  Carry out Material Inspections with Consultant, upon receipt of materials to ensure Quality of
material.
 Co-ordinate with lab team including material Engineer, all technicians, document controller,
Assistants and ensure daily test records approvals, filing and tracking in order.
 Co-ordinate for sampling, testing requirements.
 Ensure Lab test reports(On-site lab, Off-site lab tests), all documents filing, tracking in order to
meet Audit requirements and for traceability on a daily basis
 Arrange tests on materials, Field tests off – site lab tests as per inspection and test plan.
 Assist for mock up and results compilation.
 Take part in internal quality audits / Sub-Contractor audits when required / nominated by QA
Manager.
 Perform the required tasks notified by QA /QC Manager, Lab, Materials Manager for correction /
corrective action if any required / as part of continual improvements..
 Assisting with Site QA/QC Engineer for NCR/ Observation Note close outs.

Civil Site Engineer Duties and Responsibilities

 Lead a team of Foremen (General, Carpenter, Steel, Concrete and Scaffolding) to ensure timely
completion of various stages of respective works.
 Coordinating the required resources (machines/manpower/tools) and managed excavation in
hard/soft strata as per approved levels and limits.
 Coordinate with other departments to implement smooth handing over of projects without delay.
 Assist in the planning, drawing and construction monitoring of residential building
 Coordinated activities with architects, surveyors, contractors, planners, construction
managers, etc. to manage project work
 Provide assistance and gave valuable feedback in meeting the technical problems and
facing the unexpected challenges
 Observe the construction site and ensure that all safety norms and quality measures are being
followed
 Daily Site visits during construction to monitor progress and consult with contractors and clients.
 Established and implemented construction schedules, equipment and Labor requirement
 Preparation of raft and column marking, concreting
 To be responsible for day-to-day execution of the entrusted works as per the approved plans & as
per program.

Soil
Aggregate Road Base / Sub Base Mix Designs, Sampling, Sieve analysis, Moisture content, Speedy
moisture test, MDD / OMC (Proctor Compaction), CBR, sand equivalent, Liquid Limit, Plastic Limit &
Plastic Index, Plate Load test, Field Density test(By Sand Cone & Nuclear Density Guage).

Concrete
In-Situ & Precast Yard Wall Concrete Quality checking, Failure investigation of concrete, Concrete Mix
