Advanced One-Touch Igf-L: Operation Manual - Operation Function
INTRODUCTION
This instruction manual explains proper handling of the IGF to help you to maximize the potential and the
lifetime of the advanced functions of the model. The user is recommended to read the instruction manual
carefully and handle the model accordingly.

The instruction manual consists of the three volumes: the tutorials to learn the effective use and operations of
the major functions of the IGF through exercises, the references that detail useful functions and error
messages of the IGF, and the operation manual (this volume), which details the operations of the IGF
functions.
Make a good use of the instruction manual to take full advantage of the IGF.

2. IGF Operations
This subsection explains the actual operations, which are based on the processes created with IGF.
CAUTION
Cautions for machining
To perform the actual machining with the created machining program, set the origin and tool offset
setting in the NC setting screen first. Then, perform the actual machining while checking the
following items.
• Whether or not there is tool interference regarding escape/approach operations
• Tool rotation position
• Operation check by machining tests
• On-stream inspection
Refer to the “SECTION 5: Cautions for Machining in the IGF Basic/Tutorial” for the details.
Procedure :
2 Press the AUTO mode key to switch to the automatic operation mode.
3 Press the “One-Touch Advanced” key among vertical function keys to display the window in the
foreground.
