Prior to his position as the municipal mayor of Subic for his second term, he served as a board
member of the province of Zambales for another two terms: His first term of being a board
member started from July 1, 2004 to June 30, 2007; and his second term was from July 1, 2007
to June 30, 2010.
He was also once the manager of his family’s own company, the NDK Builders.
His background and experiences only prove that he is a man of courage and he possesses the
heart of resiliency, which exactly mirrors the theme of this year’s commencement exercises,
“Hindi natitinag ang pusong Pilipino.”
Ladies and gentlemen, we are honored to have in our midst, the man behind Subic success, “
Ang hindi natitinag na pinuno ng bayan”, our Mayor, Hon. Jefferson F. Khonghun.
Joan: Unfortunately our keynote speaker couldn’t make it today for his beloved grandmother has
passed away yesterday. And so we are extending our deepest sympathy to our Municipal Mayor

equally efficient, competent and rising leader, ladies and gentlemen, join us in welcoming the
Provincial Board Member of Zambales, Hon. Jonathan F. Khonghun.
