Graduation Program (EMCEE Script)

Announcement of ceremony to begin…

VERON: The Tandoc National High School 5th Senior High School Commencement Exercises will
start in a few minutes. Let us observe silence.

To maintain the solemnity of the ceremony may we request to turn your phones to silent
mode. May we also request the parents and guest to refrain in coming nearer the stage
to take pictures. We actually have an official photographer so you can ask a copy of it
after the ceremony. During the presentation of graduates, we encourage you to express
your pride by simply applauding.

KIM: The road to academic success has never been easy, and it was made even tougher this
school year because of the catastrophic situation brought about by COVID-19
pandemic.

VERON: Truly, this pandemic has brought a lot of changes to our lives. And one of those
changes is the way teachers and students teach and learn.

KIM: But as the guidelines and restrictions loosen up, we are very lucky because this year,
we are able to conduct this remarkable event in-person.

VERON: I know their parents and loved-ones are very proud of their accomplishments because
imagine, these students were able to cope with the changes, and rise from the
challenges they had encountered.

Kim: So, we would like to congratulate all students of Tandoc National High School for
fighting for your dreams and your future amidst the health crisis the world has
been facing.

BOTH: Congratulations, Graduates!

VERON: Graduation is a ceremony when qualified students are conferred an

academic degree by their school.
It is where our learners reap the fruit of labor, efforts and sacrifices.

It is when they pay tribute to the hardship of their parents or guardians

and give honor to the hardship of their second parents, their teachers.

It is the time when they are about to beat temporary goodbye to their
classmates, friends, and alma mater.

to the efforts put in by the students throughout their academic endeavor.
