How to use it

1. Purchase SIM card (GSM net work)


Buy a Micro SIM card, register the SIM card and top up with credit.

Normal SIM Micro SIM Nano SIM

NOTE: ONLY GSM SIM card works in this model


IF you have bought a Normal SIM card, you will need to cut it into
micro size
IF you have bought a Nano SIM card, you will need to use an adaptor
to fit in.

2. Remember SIM card number


Make a note of your GPS SIM card number.

3. Installation of SIM card


Open the rubber cover, insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot.
The indicator light is on when SIM card is inserted.
The device gets GPS location when there is GPS signal and gets LBS
location when there is no GPS signal,
The device automatically turns off when the SIM card is removed
How to use it
4. Set Carer's Phone Number
Connect the GPS tracker to carer's mobile phone by sending a series of
text messages as table below.

5. Terminal(local) Time Setting(factory setting GMT 0)


Send text timezone123456(space)local time zone to the GPS SIM card
number. The tracker will respond with a text message time ok

6. SMS tracking
To receive a Google map link of the location of the GPS tracker:
Send a message "G123456#" to the SIM Card number or Call the SIM Card
number in the GPS tracker. You will receive a text message with a Google
map link. Click the link to be diverted to a Google map, pinpointing the
exact location of the person with the GPS tracker.

8. Download the application on IOS/Android

Search “TKSTAR GPS” in the Apple Store/Google Play Store or Scan the QR
code to install the applications on your cell phone.

9. Find APN Settings


Every SIM card carrier has their own APN settings, we have two methods
to find out the APN settings:

10. SET APN
Set APN by sending a series of text messages,see table below for
instructions.

11. Notices
GPS tracking can be worked outdoor.
Please make sure GSM SIM card supports making calls,
sending messages, GPRS network.
Please make sure GSM SIM card is with sufficient balance.
Please make sure the GSM card has opened the call shows and turned
off the call transfer.
Please insert the GSM phone card correctly.
Do not assembly and disassembly device at will.
