Core Activities are

1)Advocacy: Consultation and technical inputs into government policies plans

at a state and national level including monitoring and reporting on government
plans and programmes relating to Children.

2)Training and awareness : On Child rights for NGOs, Gram Panchayat

members, Judges, Police, health personnel, Parents, teachers and Children.
Production, translation and dissemination of Child Rights publications and
campaigns

3)Establishing and Participating : In networks of Organisations working on

initiatives to advance child rights in the community

Conclusion: In spite of awareness, media coverage, actions, we are still coming

across reports on Child abuse, Exploitation, ill treatment. When we analyse the
root cause of all these we can understand that lack of Awareness on Rights of
Children, and laws pertaining to it are making people behave in a manner which
hinder or affects the growth of Children. Hence CRT feels it’s important to
sensitize society of becoming child friendly in nature.
