Duties and responsibilities of

PROJECTS

Industrial level projects


 Finding optimum Air Conditioner (Equipment Cabin) free cooling settings for
AIRTEL Base Station tower sites in Sri Lanka.
 Power saving using Generator shutting down on Diesel Generator (DG) only sites, by
letting them to run on the backup battery bank for a 20% of the day.
 Power saving analysis for the Base Stations using an intelligent shutting down feature
of the Transmission & Receiving Cards (TRX) according to network traffic (Able to
save almost 20% power from the utilization)

Undergraduate level projects


 Design of a Three phase Multilevel Voltage Source Inverter (Final year project).
 Designing a PSCAD model of a Dynamic Voltage Restorer (4th year).
 Design of a USB Peripheral Interface Input / Output card (3rd year).
 Design of a Digital Tachometer (Embedded system project) (3rd year).
 Developing an interactive Java game Tic-Tac-Toe (2nd year).
