The Leader in Membrane Technology
PHILOS Co., Ltd. produces membrane manufacturing facilities as well as membranes and modules. We have been
supplying our Hollow Fiber membranes, Braided Reinforced Capillary membranes and Flat Sheet membranes for UF,
MF, NF, GS and special applications to renowned research centers and other related companies, both domestic and
international. PHILOS’ mission is to be the leader in membrane technology and our ultimate purpose is to satisfy our
customers’ individual needs.

PHILOSEP SCAF
PHILOSEP SCAF (Outside-in Filtration) is the hollow fiber modules that is adapt to outer
pressure filtration type water treatment. It perfectly eliminates particles from drain water
that has fluctuating turbidity. Aeration occurs on the bottom of the modules and backwash
is executed regularly and this cleans the hollow fiber membranes and conveniently
recovers the performance.

PHILOSEP Master
PHILOSEP Master (Inside-out Filtration) is the hollow fiber modules that is adapt to inner
pressure filtration type water treatment. High particle eliminating rate is proper for the
system that requires a perfect pretreatment. Double layered sponge structure has a low
pressure in between membranes and this increases permeation performance. Dead-end
operation minimizes energy consumption as well.

PHILOSEP Megaflux
PHILOSEP Megaflux is a medium/large scale submergible MBR. PHILOSEP Megaflux
has PHILOS made RCM membranes and standardized all-in-one type elements.
Standardized All-in-One Type Elements are easy to fix when problem occurs during the
operation and Air Nozzles on the bottom of elements are efficient for the aeration.

PHILOSEP i-MBR
Radial units prevent inside of modules from contaminants and inserting in housing is
highly effective in aeration. Built-in aerator is convenient for both designing and operating.
i-MBR modules are able to backwash, CEBW, CIP either regularly or periodically.
Hydrophilic polymer membranes are high chemical resistance.

PHILOS has PSF/ PAN polymers, solvents, and other additives for manufacturing membranes. Chemicals, oil
solidifications, oil/water separation agents, and membrane washer for water treatment are also available.

Hollow Fiber Membrane Manufacturing Equipment

Hollow Fiber membrane manufacturing equipment is designed and manufactured by PHILOS engineers. The equipment
not only produces Hollow Fiber membranes in NIPS or TIPS methods, but it also has functions of membrane spinning
and winding, module potting and cutting. Our technology has reached the global level and we are ready to provide the
best equipment for demanding applications.

We are also able to manufacture the equipment in commercial, pilot and even compact laboratory scales. As an added
bonus, PHILOS does Technology Transfer on the state-of-the-art Hollow Fiber Membrane Module manufacturing
Technology.

 Flat Sheet Membrane Manufacturing Equipment
Flat sheet membrane casting machine is designed and manufactured for the laboratory experiment and feasibility test to
develop membrane. Dope solution is casted on a film or non-woven fabrics and thickness is controlled by micrometer. It
is temperature controlled for a dense film or adjusted to the evaporation conditions after casting dope solution. Coating
area is available in various sizes.

Flat Sheet Membrane Manufacturing Equipment includes Flat sheet membrane manufacturing system, Dope
formulation system, Dry/Wet flat sheet membrane coating system, TFC (Thin film composite) membrane system, Spiral-
wound and element winding system, and Membrane performance test system.
