    TRAINING PROPOSAL

    I – TITLE OF TRAINING

    “Cluster Roll-out Re Capacity Building of Teachers: Arts for Non-Artists”

    II – RATIONALE

    Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is increasingly having pervasive


    role and presence in the educational milieu as it continues to shape all aspects of our lives.
    Numerous reform projects have been in place aiming to infuse ICT across education systems
    and almost all schools are rapidly embracing information and communication technologies
    (ICT).

    This is indeed leaving no choices for education systems worldwide but to adopt ICT
    and weave it into the educational milieus and so teachers then are no exception for teachers
    are widely believed to be the key agents of any educational change. Thus, building the
    capacity of teachers in the use of ICTs to enhance quality education will help in order to
    produce pupils who have skills needed in this ever-changing society.

    It is through this background that this training is proposed.

    III – OBJECTIVES

    Through the seminar, the participants and the proponent are expected to:

    1. enhance the abilities of all teachers on developing their soft skills re: illustration,
    photography, and digital arts on the development of any learning resources; and
    2. capacitate the participants to conduct the roll-out to all teachers in their respective
    school so that all teachers will be able to make their own illustrations/ images on
    their self-made or contextualized learning resources.

    IV – TRAINING DATE AND VENUE

    The training will be conducted on March 30-31, 2022 at Rizal National High School
    Conference Hall, Adela, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro.

    The new insights to be learned by the participants will be applied in the actual

    The monitoring and evaluation shall be done through a checklist of outputs to be done
    by participants.
    XI. Evaluation:
    The seminar will be evaluated by the school head and participants. The result of the
    evaluation will be used for the improvement of other seminars to be proposed and conducted.
