 An online platform activity that aims to orient our parents about their roles as facilitators
of learning in the New normal education. Parents/Guardians of Junior and Senior High
School students are expected to participate in this activity, thru online platforms like
Facebook-Messenger parents are reminded of their primary role as parents’ facilitator: that
is to enhance and support parent involvement initiatives that focus on improving student
achievement..

NARRATIVE REPORT

The school-based Innovation online activity was carried out on September 9, 2021 at 10:00 am
links were posted in the Group Chats of the different Grade level.

It was attended by Junior and Senior High School parents.

The link for the recorded video was send to group chats of parents as well as to the teachers of
SHS for dissemination.

Our first speaker, Ms. Carla Rebecca R. Abalos, formally started the session by discussing the
Roles of Parents as Learning Facilitators in the New Normal Education as part of her program, “Parents’
Literacy as Facilitators of Learning.”

After which, Mrs. Marissa M. Del finado continued the session with her lecture entitled: “Mental
Health Awareness amidst Pandemic”

For the last session, Mrs. Ma. Concepcion A. Macanas gave lesson about Promoting Physical
Fitness During Pandemic

After all the discussions, there was a forum for learners’ and parents’ queries. Students’ outputs
were submitted in the group chats as proof of participation.

The session went smoothly, and it also ended well.
