HOW IT WORKS TAKING YOUR TURN


In the deck of cards are some Exploring Kittens. Gather all 8 of your cards into your hand and look at

1 Remove; Exploding Kitten (5), Imploding Kitten (1),


Coffee Kittens (1), Caffeine Cards (X) and Defuse
Cards (6) from your deck and shuffle.
TWO PLAYER
Play the game with 2 Exploding Kittens and
the 1 Imploding Kitten.
There are now 2 players and 3 ways to die.

2 Deal 7 cards face down to each player.


Remove:
Streaking Kitten
Reverse
Catomic Bomb

3 Deal 1 Defuse Card to each player for a total hand of


8 cards per player.

4 Playing with a Streaking kitten


- Insert Kittens (exploding, imploding, coffee) back into
the deck so that the total number of Kittens is

SPECIAL COMBOS
(READ THIS AFTER YOU’VE PLAYED YOUR FIRST GAME)

Caffeine cards cannot be used in special combos
until a Coffee Kitten has exploded!

TWO OF A KIND
Playing 2 matching Cat Cards lets you steal a random
card for any player (See page 8).
With this rule, you can now form a pair from ANY
cards with the same icon!

THREE OF A KIND
Play 3 matching cards and you can ask for a specific card.
If the player has the requested card it’s yours! If not, you get
nothing …

5 DIFFERENT KINDS

If you play 5 different cards (any 5 cards with different icons) in one round,
you can now go through the Discard Pile and take any single
card you like!

COFFEE WARP
3 player minimum

After the Coffee Kitten has exploded, you can discard 4


Caffeine cards, to go through the Discard Pile and take
any single card you like!

Tip: make sure your combos don’t get NOPED!

STREAKING KITTEN
EXPLODING KITTEN 1 CARD
5 CARDS
While this card is in your hand, you can also secretly hold
You must show this card immediately. Unless you have a

COFFEE KITTEN
This card cannot be defused, nor can it be NOPED. 1 CARD

If drawn by a player who has 3 Caffeine cards, Coffee Kitten


When the Imploding Kitten implodes and kills a player, it
must be put into the Discard Pile just like an Exploding

SHUFFLE CATOMIC BOMB

Shuffle the Draw Pile without viewing the cards. Remove all the Exploding Kittens from the Draw Pile so
that everyone can see them.

Tip: Best used as an option to avoid drawing a “dangerous” card! CAT CARDS

These cards are powerless on their own, but if you collect

MARK
3 CARDS

Pick a player and randomly pick 1 of the cards from their


hand. Then return the picket card to back to the player

CURSE OF THE CAT BUTT


4 CARDS

Pick a player. That player must immediately make their cards BLIND
by putting them face down on the table and shuffling them.
The blind player is not allowed to look at any of their cards until
they successfully draw from the Draw Pile without exploding.

One their turn, if the blind player decides to play any cards, those cards
must be picked randomly and played face up on the Discard Pile.
If the card is playable, play as normal. If not, the card is lost.
BUT …

BLIND Exploding Kitten BLIND Caffeine card


- If you don’t have a Streaking Kitten, you must blindly play - Coffee Kitten in play (not exploded) =
