Narrative Report In the DepEd Monthly Celebrations, the month of November is
regarded as the English Month wherein all schools nationwide
celebrates this activity where there are series of contest to hone the
skills of the pupils in using the English language. For this year’s
theme “ Techy English in Shaping 21st Century Learners” which aims
to hone pupils’ abilities to speak and write in English, provide
students with opportunities to use the English language in various
situations, rev up English language communication skills of the
students, enhance students’ creativity and display artistic skills and
talents.
Like most schools, the Rotary Inner Wheel Village Elementary
School conducted an English Month Culmination Program last
Novemeber 29, 2019. It was an extraordinary day where many pupils
participated in the different categories and the excitement was there.
The opening program started at 9:00 in the morning with an
Pambansanag awit and a prayer which was offered by Mrs. Tigoy.
Then Mrs. Pagsiat made a welcome greetings and at the same time
she formally opened the English Month Program.
Then came the competition proper. The categories contested at
the lower and higher grade level were spelling, story reading, poem
recitation and writing contest. After the contest proper an awarding
ceremony was followed were Mrs. Miñoza did the announcement of
winner. All the participating pupils received an award; candies and
certificate.
It was a fun filled activity were pupils had the chance to give
their best in the different contest.
General Comments & Issues In celebrating the English Month there were no recorded

incidents in doing the activity. The pupils were all participative in
every contest. They supported their classmates who joined the
different category.
