    SUMMER HOLIDAY HOMEWORK


    Summer is messy, Summer is fun

    Trips to the beach, In the hot, hot sun

    Let’s give Summer, A big fat cheer !

    Summer is the best time of the year.

    Summer vacation is just round the corner, let every moment of this vacation be a time to write,
    connect and enjoy beautiful moments with your child.

    Activity -

    Handprints dinosaur puzzle popsicle sticks.

    Objective
    - To make them creative
    - To, enhance their logical thinking
    - To make them recognize numbers.

    Material Required

    Ice-cream sticks – 10
    Cello tape
    Water color (light green, dark green)
    Scissor
    Fevicol
    Black sketch pen
    Color brush
    Steps-

    ● Take ten ice-cream sticks and line them side to side


    ● Join them with a cello-tape
    ● Color the palm of your child with green color.
    ● Print it on the sticks
    ● Design the palm as a dinosaur.
    ● Number the sticks at the bottom.
    ● Remove the cello tape from the sticks.
    ● Now shuffle the sticks and ask your child to arrange them number wise.
    ● At the end it will be arranged as the dinosaur.
    ● Puzzle will be completed.

    Independent Me:

    ● Button up their shirt


    ● Put on their socks and shoes
    ● Put up their bag
    ● Eat lunch on their own
    ● Keep their surroundings neat and tidy
    ● Keep things where it belongs to imbibe following social skills in your child.
    ● Greeting with a smile when someone comes to the house.
    ● Conversing freely with visitors, relatives coming over to the house.
    ● Speaking politely to the peer group.
    ● Sharing with peers.

    Encourage your child to take care of personal hygiene’ by inculcating the following habits.
    ● Brush your teeth twice a day
    ● Comb your hair regularly
    ● Bathing everyday
    ● Wash your hands before and after the meals.

    Engage your child in the following fine motor Activities :

    ● Zipping and unzipping


    ● Opening and closing the bottle cap / tiffin box.
    ● Turning pages of a Book.
    ● Squeezing bath sponges
    ● .Encourage your child to use these magical words.
