How to

use Canva
You will find editing instructions
and tips in this document
Step 1

You need a www.canva.com account and


internet connection to edit this template.
If you don’t have a Canva account yet, you will
need to register a free account before being able
to open the template.

Please make sure to edit the template on your


computer. Not all Canva features used to create
this template are available on the mobile app
yet, so you may experience technical issues.

If you need more help with Canva, you can also visit

Step 2 Customize colors

You can customize colors of the


backgrounds, shapes and the text.

Do this by pressing on the object you


want to change the color of and than
click on the color square in the top bar.

To choose from a wider range of colors


or to add your own color code click on
“new color“.
Step 3 work with fonts and texts

Click on the text you want to change and scroll through


the options to find what fits your branding best.

Text adjustments

Top bar will hepl you Use this bar to adjust space between
to make text adjustments. the letters and space between the lines.
Step 4 work with images and objects

Uploading

Use this tab to upload your images.


You can upload SVG files or your
logo as well.

Placement

Drag and drop your picture into


image place holder.

Manipulation

Double tap on the image. You will


be switched into the mode
where you can delete the image /
object by hiting „delete button“
on your key board. To scale, just drag
one of the corners of the square that
appeared around the object.
Step 4 work with images and objects

Rotation

Once you select the image / object


„Two Arrows“ icon will appear to
rotate your image / object.

Transformation

To flip your image / object


use this tool on the top bar.

Locking

Use this icon to lock or unlock


the image / object.

If this icon appears, it means


image / object was locked.
Step 5 positioning

Use this tool to move


elements forward or
backward.

Use align icons to adjust


elements position.

If you select an element, but it doesn’t


appear, or you can’t place image into
the image place holder, it means it’s
layered under other elements.
Step 6 export / download

If you want download your files press the „download“ button


on the upper right corner.

Files for social media Select PNG or JPG file

Files for print Select PDF for print. Mark option „Crop marks and bleed“
if you need them.

Here you can choose to download


all pages or just some of them.
