Requirements:

• USB stick (format FAT32)


• *.pag file (e.g. apollo_1.pag, part of the training files) to read/save the config data.
• Software version, if required (e.g. version A30202, available by request in
Gilbarco Techsupport Department)

Functions:

1) READ CONFIG DATA AND LOG FILES:

• Create a new folder named “ApolloConfig” on the USB drive.


• Paste the “*.pag” (e.g. apollo_1.pag) file into this folder. See following picture:

• Plug the USB stick into the slot on the CPU (P9021)
• Press button 8 on the Manager Keypad and observe the LEDs next to the
USB plug for the following sequence:
o D15 (green) off
o D16 (red) on (round about 6 sec.)
o D16 (red) off
o D15 (green) on
• Display shows “GEt COnFIG”
• Plug out the USB stick
• The Apollo software has created a new folder on the USB drive with the name
“ApolloLogsYYMMDDhhmm”. See following picture:

o YY - Year
o MM - Month
o DD - Date
o hh - Hour
o mm - Minutes

• Browse for the “Result.dat” file in this new folder. This file is the dispenser
config file and has to be renamed to the file format *.pas (e.g. “Result.pas”).
Only with this extension, the file can be used to reconfigure the pump, if the
configuration was lost for some reason (e.g. coldstart).

2) SEND CONFIG:

• Create a folder named “ApolloConfig” on the USB drive (if not already done)
and paste the *.pas file into this folder. See following picture (e.g.
Testand_Apollo.pas):

• Plug the USB stick into the slot on the CPU (P9021)
• Open the Security Switch (SW1) to position “CALIBRATE”
• Press button 2 on the Manager Keypad and observe the LEDs next to the
USB plug for the following sequence:
o D15 (green) off
o D16 (red) on (round about 3 sec.)
o D16 (red) off
o D15 (green) on
• Display shows “Store Config”
• CPU reboots once the Config change is done
• Wait until the reboot has finished
• Close the Security Switch (SW1) back to “NORMAL”

3) SOFTWARE UPGRADE:

• Create a folder named “ApolloExe” on the USB drive and paste the *.exe file
into this folder. See following picture:

• Plug the USB stick into the slot on the CPU (P9021)
• Power off the dispenser
• Place the security switch (SW1) to “CALIBRATE” position
• Set coldstart jumper (COLD ST)
• Power on the dispenser
• Display shows “USB Load”. Observe the LEDs next to the USB plug for the
following sequence:
o D16 (red) on (round about 80 sec.)
o D16 (red) off
• Now, the display shows “Flash” (round about 30 sec.)
• Afterwards the CPU reboots and starts running with the new software (if the
CPU does not reboot here, plug out the USB-Stick and execute a power
reset). The software upgrade is now completed.
• Error E9 displayed due to coldstart jumper
• Remove coldstart jumper (COLD ST)
• Plug out the USB stick
• Reboot! Power off the dispenser
• Power on the dispenser and wait until the reboot has finished.
• Set time and date (CC60.1 and 2)
• Plug the USB stick into the slot on the CPU (P9021)
• Reconfigure the dispenser according to point 2)
