    Check list for installation of Under Ground Drainage Piping System

    1 Check the pipes and other fittings / material used have approved submittals.

    2 Ensure drawings used for installation are current and approved.

    3 Inspect all the pipes and fittings used are new and undamaged.

    4 Ensure that trench bedding is examined leveled and sloped as per the specifications / requirement (Where Applicable).

    5 The pipe routing and layout as per approved construction drawings.

    6 Minimum slope is maintained through out as indicated on the approved drawings.

    7 All the joints are completed properly with appropriate / approved jointing material and as per manufacturer’s instructions.

    8 Gaskets are installed as required as per the manufacturer’s instructions.

    9 Ensure the piping is installed true to grades with proper alignment.

    10 Temporary supports as required, thrust blocks and concrete encasing provided as specified (where applicable).

    The under ground piping system is checked for leaks and defects as per approved / specified method of testing. Test results are

    recorded and documented.

    12 All the pipe work is protected during the remainder of the construction period and plugs are placed for the incomplete piping.
