Fig 1 - MaxxECU Plugin kit consist of the following parts:


1. MaxxECU CMC connector
2. Vehicle harness adapter.
3.16-pin extra connector.
4. 3-pin connector for extra 0-5v sensor (ex. pressure sensor).
5. 2-pin connector for external IAT, used on models when no IAT is mounted from factory.

ECU installation
• Stock Engine Control Unit (ECU) is located on passenger side, behind plastic protection on the right side.
• Remove plastic cover protection.
• Disconnect the stock ECU from vehicle harness connector.
• Install MaxxECU harness into vehicle harness connector. Make sure to tighten!
• Install included MAP-sensor into engine manifold with included hose kit.

Plugin Trigger
Using stock triggers on crank and cam.

Notes
MaxxECU has some built in output test and diagnostics, see Diagnostics ---> Output test to test certain outputs.
On early models IGN 8 was connected to tachometer output, some customers had issues with AWD. Problem was fixxed by
changing the tach output to GPO 8 instead of IGN 8.
Basemaps uses Tach output on both outputs to ensure backward compatibility.
