J: COVID-19 Pandemic has turned the world upside down. Everything has
been impacted. How we live and interact with each other, how we work and
communicate, our basic routinary way of living to celebration of big events and
even the education system. Every aspect of our lives has been affected and
suddenly shifted to “New Normal”.

P: To begin with, Let’s fill our hearts with adoration as Rev. Fr. Dexter M.
Fabie lead the prayer.

J: May we all put ourselves in the spirit of patriotism as we listen to our
National Anthem.

P: It’s overwhelming to hear words of welcome from our very own and
dedicated school Principal Dr. Marites M. Merza.

J: Thank you Ma’am for that warm welcome to our viewers today, it is indeed
precise that There was a clear message being conveyed to us, and that is to
remain steadfast in our faith no matter what.
P: To break the monotony of the program let us watch the select teachers of
Santa Cruz Academy as they perform the Guling- Guling festival, trained by
our talented Faculty President Mr. Tom B. Montevirgen.
J: Guling-Guling Festival is a traditional occasion that happens yearly in the
month of February in Paoay, Ilocos Norte. It is held before the Ash
Wednesday or the start of the season of Lent or also known as “Semana
Santa”, which begins 40 days prior to Easter. It is celebrated as the last day of
merry-making and enjoyment for the townspeople before the Lenten season.

P: And now, ladies and gentlemen, you are about to witness virtually the main
highlight of today’s event.
J: Commencement is a special time for our graduates who completed the
requirements of graduation. To do the honors of presenting this school year’s
candidate for graduation, may we have on our screen, our very own and
beloved school principal, Dr. Marites M. Merza,
P: Followed right away by the acceptance, confirmation and his message,
Rev. Fr. Reyman G. Catindig ED. D Acsdi Superintendent. May we give them
a virtual applause.

P: Thank you Fr. Reyman for your heart warming message. Indeed graduates,
never forget what Fr. Reyman says that “As you navigate a more complex
journey, the gift of your academic competence, pastoral orientation, and
holistic formation is meant to be shared with others. Congratulations
Graduates!
J: At this juncture, you will be witnessing the Candidates for Graduation to be
presented by their respective advisers. For Academic Business and

Trustees. Allow me to read his inspiring message for the Graduates.

mission led us to realize that the Lord worked with us this year and will
continuously journey with us till the end.”
J: At this point, May I call on Diane M. Norico Accountancy, Business and
Management Strand With high Honor to lead their fellow graduates in reciting
the Graduate Pledge.

Alumni Foundation, Inc., to officiate the formal induction of batch 2021’s
inclusion to the Alumni Association, may I call on an alumna herself and
