Pronoun – is a word that takes the place of noun.


Personal Pronoun – replaces a noun or nouns in subject part of
a sentence.
Examples:
She is used to replace a noun that is feminine.
Ana is my friend. She is nice and friendly.

He is used to replace a noun that is masculine.


Ronel is kind. He is helpful too.

It – is used when we talk about animal or object that is singular


in number.
The tree is tall. It has many leaves on branches.

I – is used to replace the name of the one who is speaking.
I am going to the park.

They – is used to replace names of some persons, things,


animals and places.
The children are playing patintero. They are enjoying the
game.

We - is used to replace names of two or more persons


including the one who is speaking.
Mary and I are cousins. We go to school together.

You – is used to replace a name or names of the one or ones


being talked to.
You are my bestfriend.

DIRECTIONS: Read and understand the dialogue. Write the
correct personal pronoun in the blank to complete the

Personal Pronouns take the place of nouns that name


people, places, animals and things.
I/We – are used for a name or names of the one or ones
speaking.
You – is used for a names of the one or ones being talked
to.
It – is used for a name of an object or animal being talked
to.
She – is used for a name of a person who is feminine (girl)
being talked to.
