Of all the presented that business models above in items of information security, which do you
think is the hardest to protect and why? Which do you think is the easiest and why? Limit your
answers to four paragraphs and each paragraph should be limited to less than ten sentences.

Answer:
I think the business model that is hardest to protect is the online auction and the sample
company or product is Ebay and Arriba. It is an E-commerce business where you are purchasing
a product through online and deliver it to your address. This online auction needs your some
basic information like complete name, complete address and your phone number in order to
deliver your parcel. And I think this is the hardest to protect because you put your information in
their system, and once that their system is got hacked or crashed your information can get and
used it to scam you and other users. They can get your information and send a parcel to your
address that you didn’t purchased. Not only the consumers will get affected to it as well as the
sellers, their bank accounts might connected to the system of online auctions and the hackers can
also trace that and get all the information and transfer their money into other bank accounts and
withdraw it.
And every hour many accounts registered to the system and putting their data on it, and it
might be harmful to the users. And I believe that those companies invested for their security,
both users and also to theirs. A security that will protect the users and also their system to not get
hacked easily and get their users information and used it in any crimes.
And the easiest to protect is the multilevel marketing and the sample products or
company is Avon, Mary Kay and Amway, this type of business model is easy to protect because
the transactions is didn’t need to go through online just like in online auction where you are
purchasing and browsing products online. In this multilevel marketing the people who is selling
this product is sometimes your neighbor, family or relatives and they will recommended it to
you. You don’t need internet to browse the product because they have a brochure of their
products where all their products that they selling are there. This kind of transaction don’t need
your much personal information as long as the salesperson is know you personally and know
your address. This kind of transaction is person to person no network or internet involved, that’s
why it’s easy to protect because it’s the person got your some information like names and
address and it will protect your confidentiality and no hackers can get your information to collect
all your data that will harm both consumer and the seller.
This kind of business model is a traditional selling that is why it is easy to protect and
also the one who knows your information is someone you know personally and trustworthy.
