experience and skills which were also needed when dealing with the less privileged. Moreover,
it also strengthened the teamwork skills by having to figure seamlessly side with our group to
tug off this great event. Thus, this was an excellent experience and will be willing to do it again
if permitted.
We organized a task play game for the children, organize a time for sharing on different
professions to the children so as to reinforce the interest of the children. it had been an excellent
moment to possess an issue and answer session with the children regarding their life experience
both previous and current activities. Therefore, the orphanage home that we visited is Trinity
Children Centre which is found at Petaling Jaya, Selangor. However, Trinity Children house is
always an area where people visit all the time for community work and it's a society found out

5.0 GROUP PARTICIPATION EXPERIENCES:
CHUKWUNENYE CHUKA R:
As a Team leader I learnt social communication, teamwork, responsible and planning of
project. during this community service, I even have learnt the important of putting an area to
nurture and strengthen these set of children through practical programs and by teaching them
the facility of God’s awesome like to heal the broken spirits and restore broken relationships.
It is human to locate such set of kids, we must find out how to share our loves with orphans,
abused, battered, abandoned and neglected children. I’m glad that I used to be ready to make
people conscious of what MAHSA University has got to offer.
PHILIP EDEH:
It has been such a stimulating experience to volunteer myself to assist out at the less privileged.
I even have learnt that it's tough to feed and supply for orphans, abused, battered, abandoned
and neglected children, that's why I volunteered myself to start this community and welfare
work. Besides that, I even have learnt that team work is vital to accomplish the tasks given out.
I’m glad to possess and maximized my passionate and leadership skill. I might say that this
community work opportunity was well organized.
IGBOZOR ARTHUR:
Through this community work, I learnt about care and love for the orphans, abused, battered,
abandoned and neglected children, However, they ought to be treated the way as you would
like others to treat you. From my personal opinions, very sad to mention that this set of children
haven't any parents nor feel the parental feelings. Lastly, I hope that everybody will have
concern about these set of children, teach and motivate them and also make them love
themselves despite their conditions.
CALISTUS ONYEGBULE:
I felt exhausted while organizing this trip but I gained much experiences to serve community
which I feel quite meaningful. I feel very warm while contact with the children. Finally, I hope
the general public should lookout of them and treat them as part of our family also. Completing
this project impacted my life positively. having the ability to assist people in our own
community was something very special and not something you get to try when not ready. I
11
used to be grateful to urge this chance and not only help my community but I also got the
prospect to satisfy new people in my community who will have positive influences in my life.
SAMSON ILESANMI:
Through this community work at Trinity Children Centre, I have learnt to assist the needy and
the way to offer them hope to measure. but that, I have also learnt to figure with team mates to
accomplish the tasks given. Helping others out is worthy although we'd like to try to some
social works. Finally, working as a volunteer in Trinity Children's Home benefited me quite
lot. After completing our project, I think, I have gained confidence in approaching people. I
used to be always scared of teaching people randomly so as to advertise some event.
HARRISON OKAFOR:
I felt tired any well in this work. I also feel happy because I had the opportunity to interact and
to take care of the orphans, abused, battered, abandoned and neglected children. I learnt the
way to obey the principles that's given. once we obey the principles, there's no accident or
complaint happen. Second, I learnt to work as a team. once we work together, we will do our
jobs in no time, and smoothly. Lastly, connecting with people has always been my dream, and
it was an enjoyable moment with the children.
PIO ONDO:
This was my very first time to be engaged in community work, it had been so fun work, teach
and motivate these kids. I has notice that keeping these set of children isn't a simple job as I
has given a task to wash the large class room to try to performance and artwork, it had been so
tiring especially controlling and organising the children under the age of two and three. I’m
glad that i used to be ready to help those children keepers to scale back their work as they have
to wash their classroom twice before we left. I even have learnt that there's no easy work, we
should always exert in every task given to us.
MUHAMMAD FAHMIN:
It was a really interesting experience visiting orphans, abused, battered, abandoned and
neglected children. it had been an unforgettable experience. I have learnt that team work is
extremely important to accomplish any tasks given out and it had been tough to be a Keeper,
cleaner and teacher for those kids but I was happy seeing myself doing them. I’m glad and
happy that I have been given an opportunity to community / welfare work. I will be grateful to
12
have this opportunity again, and not only helping the orphans but I also got the prospect to
meet new people at Trinity Children's Home who have positively influenced in my skill.
MICHAEL EBHODAGHE:
I had an excellent experience through the community work. It’s quite tired but we had many
funs working as volunteer at the Trinity Children's Home. Besides, I felt lucky because the
team leader appointed me to offer motivational lecture. I saw the children being lifted up in
spirit and every one was crammed with laughter. Nevertheless, I’m glad to have gotten to learn
new things from this community work project. Out of this project I gained new connections
that provided personal relationship, no matter how long those relationships may last. It was a
wonderful moment.
6.0 CONCLUSION:
In conclusion, we will say that we've definitely find out how orphans, abused, battered,
abandoned and neglected children emotionally feel once they mix with people that are
privileged. Be it working as a gaggle together or be it controlling and managing the children,
both of those must have patience and understand their feelings. Another thing to say is, after
seeing and searching the kids’ current conditions, we've also realized how fortunate we are, in
this world, living with our parents, living in such a cushty environment, ready to have a correct
education, food and shelter. we were ready to help and teach, and to also show love and support
to orphanage kids in Trinity Children's Home it was definitely a privileged and putting smile
on their faces really makes our day and ignites feelings of joy of doing such wonderful work.
Therefore, if we could also be granted such an opportunity to render this type of project within
the future again, I might definitely want to volunteer to help. community service also instils
love and increase compassion for orphans. it's a part of our duty as humans to worry for them,
and this is often an excellent opportunity for this group to figure closely with orphans. Although
it had been a sweaty and tiring experience, we still had an excellent experience.
