History of Jollibee:

It was in 1978 that Caktiong opened the institution that is Jollibee in the bustling former
capital of the Philippines, Quezon City, forever changing his country's fast-food landscape
and capturing the hearts and tastebuds of generations. And it happened seemingly by
chance. A Filipino citizen born to Chinese immigrants with a degree in chemical engineering,
Tan Caktiong entered the food world by opening a Magnolia ice cream parlor in 1975, a
franchised Filipino spot owned by the San Miguel conglomerate. He decided to defer from
the original menu and also offer hot sandwiches and snacks for hungry patrons looking to
consume something other than sweets. When the food began outselling the ice cream, Tan
had an idea to create a fast-food spot that solely appealed to the Filipino palette. It was then
that Jollibee was born.

Jollibee took off, and Caktiong didn’t look back. In fact, he looked global. The chain began
popping up all over the Philippines, attracting more and more customers with its no-
nonsense, Filipino-centric menu. It competed with large American chains and combatted
McDonald’s entry into the Filipino market in the early ‘80s. It opened its first overseas
location in 1986, and its first US location in 1998. At its core, its success lies in the fact that it
was -- and continues to be unabashedly Filipino, with hot dogs galore in the banana-ketchup
spaghetti and garlic rice paired with every breakfast meal. Today, Jollibee has over 1,000
locations worldwide, with dozens sprinkled across the US and plans to expand into triple
digits in the next 5 years.

Dining experiences and details about the food we ordered:

It's been a tough year for each and everyone especially for those food establishments that
needed to shut down because of this unpredictable pandemic. As far as I remembered the
last time I dine-in in Jollibee was a year ago before the spread of Covid-19. 

I usually eat in Jollibee and to be honest Jollibee is my on the go food establishment that
comfort me every time when  I am having a hard time. I can still recall the last moment I ate
in Jollibee Sm Taytay, I ordered super meal A like what i used to. Super meal A inclusion are
chickenjoy with  linamnam-ulam Burger Steak and sweet-sarap Half Jolly Spaghetti for just
150 pesos with drink, also I added fries and Sundae.  

The service was nice and great, from the door the security guard will greet you and say "Jolly
morning" up to the counter with a smile on their faces. The environment was also clean
and  within 10 minutes our order is already ready. I also remembered when I asked the crew
to get me a gravy and she immediately took the small cup with a smile on her face and said
"Sige po ma'am akina po, yung kina sir din po ba" how kind that person, i hope all the crew
are same as her attitude.
And after we ate we usually do the CAYG thing, or Clean As You Go.

The jollibee in SM Taytay can only allot a small number of people because the space of the
establishment is small and I think if you already experienced to eat there you will also
suggest to improve the space. On the other side, the dining are itself was clean but I have
eaten there a lot of times and there are times where the table has no customer but the
leftovers are still in the table. 

The last time that I went in SM Taytay Jollibee I experienced this, this is one of their
problems also aside from what I have given on the first part, their services are just too slow
and some of their crews have attitude when I asked for more gravy. But aside from that they
make sure that the orders are complete and they will greet you when you are leaving the
establishment.

The last time that I ate in SM Taytay, I ordered 1 pc chicken with fries and coke. I love their
chicken because it is really crispy and cooked perfectly.

For my dining experience at Jollibee Puregold Taytay Rizal is quite good. When it comes to
the place, floor, chair and the tables it is neat because as what I observe, the workers there
are hard working. However, the store itself was small. When I went inside it's a little bit
crowded, I suggest they should renovate it due to it's high demand because the foods are
satisfying and affordable so a lot of people visiting that fast food chain

Everytime I order to them, the crews are genuinely happy and their positivity can level up
your moobd as well. I like the way that they've always been setting the relevance of a family
as their concept. Also their services is the one what I wanted there, the people or the
environment inside is welcoming. Even the guards, cashier or any staff is easy to talk to and
their cheerfulness is amazing. 

Everytime I ordered for my meal in Jollibee is satisfying. I always order Rice, chicken with
drinks or sometimes spaghetti with chicken. They always checked that the orders are
complete.

This experience happened on February 6, 2021. It occurred because me and my father went
into SM Taytay to buy me a new smartphone. Afterwards we proceed to eat on Jollibee SM
Taytay Branch before we went home. As soon as we enter the establishment, a crew
approached us to fill out the form in regards of the COVID Prevention, then they'll measure
your Temperature. After that me and my father search for a vacant seat and we are able to
find one. I'd always order the Spicy Chicken Joy with extra rice since it was my Go To Meal
ever since I was a kid then my father always copy my order so then we proceed to eat then I
was testing the camera of my new phone then I took this shot. All I can say is the services of
every Jollibee Branch that I've went to is Pretty Consistent from the moment you have
entered, the moment you talk to a staff and placed your orders, and the moment you've
leave. Jollibee will always be a special place in my mind and heart.

During my youth days until now I really loved this fast food because of there burgers and I
usually went there just to grab some Aloha Yumburger with a Cokefloat. Jollibee is popular
because the food is inexpensive, convenient, and tastes good. The vibes of the place also
feel like home for me because it brings the pleasure and warmth of feeling seeing a family
eating together and makes me feel more comfortable when I go to that place.For me, it is
the best place to have a snacks with your love one’s due to the vibes and the foods that they
offers.

Their staffs are so kind and easily to approach. My dining experience is quite fine. However
they didn't give me a ketchup, when i asked for it the cashier just give me one ketchup, i
bought large fries and that's no enough for that in that part I'm so disappointed. I ordered
one pc chicken with spaghetti, large fries, and drinks.

Excellent environment, friendly service, great menu choices and really decent food and at
affordable prices I ordered a bucket of chicken joy and me and my friends eat that their we
bring our own rice we don’t order the rice in Jollibee because it’s not enough for us

The location of Jollibee in Taytay Rizal needs a good renovation. For me it's just too small
and needs more space for the customers. The counter just clogs the way to the other side
towards tables, that's just inaccurate.However, the smell of their chain was terrible. Hoping
for better sanitation next time. The dining area was clean and ventilated as well. Also, the
service crew ensures that they disinfect the tables before they serve the meal.

The food delivery is always late, it takes almost 30 minutes before they serve the meal but
the service crews are approachable when it comes to attending the needs of the customers.

I ordered a bucket meal with burgers, the foods are well prepared and complete. I love their
foods specially their chicken it's almost perfect and well cooked. After they served the meal
they always check that the customer's orders are complete.

 The last time I ate dine-in in jollibee was before pandemic. Filipinos do love the taste of
jollibee as I came in the store is busy and full of costumers that I had to search for a vacant
table after I took my order. The table I found was just recently used and food plates are still
present which then got immediately cleaned as a crew noticed me taking a seat. Lines in
jollibee is fast and there are 4 cashier registers open that serves costumers. As I approach
the cashier I got greeted, I then ordered the Two pieces burger steak with a regular coke. I
was offered an upsize for my beverage and additional orders which I usually decline. The
service is fast and after a few minutes I have recieved the food. I then have enjoyed my meal
and stacked my used plate and cup to be cleaned easier and left.

Evaluation of entire food experience

Everywhere you go, jollibee is with you. No matter how far is your destination, when you get
hungry jollibee is the best recommendation for a fast food restaurant. From each stories
that we shared, It really have that nostalgic feeling to tell when Jollibee is the topic. As we
notice, each and everyone of us has a different perspective and opinion regarding to our
own experience in Jollibee Taytay. Most of us are satisfied with their foods, services, dining
experience and the establishment itself. The services was great, from the security guard up
to the crews or staff. Also, they are all eco – friendly to their customers as well as their
attitude towards their customers was amazing. When you enter to Jollibee, the ambiance of
the place was really better and more comfortable. Jollibee make sure the cleanliness of their
restaurant for the safety of everyone, they trained their staffs and crew on how they should
do their job and on how to have a good interactions to their customers, to give them a warm
feeling while dining. Outstanding atmosphere, excellent staff, a diverse menu selection, and
a really good food at reasonable prices. It is already a given fact that Jollibee is one of the
best contender and leading fastfood chain in the country, their set of meals are undeniably
delicious and it is truly a budget friendly. We like the way that they've always been setting
the relevance of a family as their concept, and that is probably one of the biggest reasons
why Filipinos loves Jollibee.
