LTYE
Tieback Seal Receptacle
Features/Benefits: -
LRPF
Retrievable Packoff Bushing Seating Sub
The LRPF packoff bushing seating sub provides a means to connect the
liner system to the running tools during liner installation. Cardium’s
component based system provides tremendous versatility in design,
allowing the selection of appropriate components to suit the liner
purpose. The LRPF packoff bushing seating sub provides a running
thread for the Cardium LTNG running tool and a profile for the LRKC
retrievable packoff bushing. When used with the LRKC retrievable
packoff bushing, the LRPF provides a sealing surface to the packoff
bushing allowing hydraulic operations and cementing to occur in the
liner below. The use of a retrievable bushing makes second trip drillouts
a thing of the past.
This version of the LRPF is run as a setting sleeve, between the tieback
receptacle and the liner hanger. The bottom end of the LRPF in the
design provides not only a connection to the liner hanger, but also the
cone for the slips to ride up on. This design enables the system to be
easily adapted to the internal diameter of the host casing.
Features/Benefits: -
The LCNL compact liner hanger provides a versatile, cost effective well
completion solution. The addition of an apporopriate LRPF top sub with
integral cone allows for the hanger to be fully adjustable depending on
the internal diameter of the host casing. The left hand mechanical set is
ideal for wells that are pressure sensitive and would not respond well to
pressure shocks associated with a hydraulic shear. A lack of hydraulic
ports also minimises the use of elastomers in the liner, minimising
potential leak paths.
Features/Benefits: -
Separate cone profile allows for full versatility in host casing internal
diameters
Landing Collar
LDLC
Drillable Latch Landing Collar
The LDLC provides a latch in sealing profile for the wiper plug, ensuring
a good, visible plug bump. It also an anti-rotation profile that matches
the plug, to ensure trouble free drill out. The internals of the LDLC are
aluminium and are kept to a minimum to enable fast drill out.
Features/Benefits: -
Minimal material in the landing collar allows for fast drill out
Float Shoe
LDFL
Dual Valve Spaded Float Shoe
The Cardium LDFL Dual Valve Spaded Float Shoe guides the liner to
bottom and houses the valves necessary for cement displacement. Using
Weatherford’s Sure Seal 3 valves, the LDFL is rated to API RP10F
Category 3C, the highest rating float equipment can attain.
The valves enable pumped cement to pass through the float equipment
and then seal shut, ensuring that there is no back flow into the liner.
They also serve the secondary purpose of keeping well debris from
entering the liner, risking plugging the liner hanger hydraulic system.
Features/Benefits: -
Sure Seal 3 valves rated to API Category 3C, the highest possible
rating for float equipment.
The LLWP Cardium Liner Wiper Plug wipes the liner ID while creating a
barrier between the cement and the displacement fluid. When sealed
and locked into the landing collar it provides an additional backpressure
safety check, preventing cement from re-entering the liner.
Features/Benefits: -
The LDWP provides the primary method of cleaning the drill pipe
following cementing the liner. The LDWP dart latches into the LLWP
Liner Wiper Plug, causing an increase in applied pump pressure to shear
and release the LLWP. The latching mechanism on the dart is designed
with an anti-rotation thread to prevent spinning during subsequent drill
out.
Like the LLWP, the LDWP is made from Aluminium and is fully PDC
drillable. The elastomeric material can be selected for well conditions.
Fin sizes are available to handle a variety of drill pipe sizes and weights
including tapered drill pipe strings.
Features/Benefits: -
Fins can be selected for a variety of well conditions and drill pipe
sizes.
LTNG
Mechanical Release Liner Running Tool
The LTNG running tool maintains a simple design that enables the
release of the running tools from the liner with 9 rotations to the right.
The LTNG running tool is threaded up to the LTTG running sub in the
liner assembly and provides the primary link between the running tools
and the liner. At depth the LTNG remains attached to the liner until the
hanger is set and is taking weight. When it has been established that
the liner is hung, the tool is rotated to the right to enable it to release
from the liner. In the unlikely event of the hanger not setting, the liner
can be set on bottom with the LDFL spaded nose float shoe providing
the necessary torsional resistance to the liner to allow the running tool
to be released.
Features/Benefits: -
Retrievable Packoff
LRKC
Retrievable Packoff
Features/Benefits: -
Remains firmly in place until the cement job is complete and the
liner top packer is set.
