1. Countable Nouns. (Count Nouns or countables) one.

 Nouns that can be counted are called countable nouns. For eg. We can say dogs, trees, classes, mountain but we
cannot say kindnesses, prides etc
Book, Pen, Egg, house, rupee are countable nouns.
 Countable may be used with such words as a, one, two,
A noun used in answer to the question- few, many etc.
For eg. a pen, one student, a few apples, many children.
How many ? - is a countable noun.  Uncountable cannot be used with these words. We can’t
say, a milk, one wheat,a few kindnesses.
Eg. How many feet do you have?
For uncountables we can use words like little, much, a little
I have two feet. milk, much help.

Feet is a countable noun.

2. Uncountable Nouns.

 Nouns that count be counted are called uncountable nouns.

Milk, tea, sugar, ink, paper are uncountable nouns.

A noun used in answer to the questions –

How much ?- is an uncountable noun.
