PMIStudy Hall Features Pilot
Get familiar with your new study buddy! Below you will learn all about PMI Study Hall™
Essentials and Plus and their amazing features designed to keep you informed, focused,
engaged, and motivated on your road to PMP success.
Upon initial access, you will be asked to select your exam date. This will create a learning plan
and set knowledge goals for you based on your timeframe, so you know exactly what to study
and review daily.
Home
The home page is your main navigation dashboard: it is where you will find all your tools,
activities, and progress. You can navigate to any page using the menu on the left and seek
support or take a break with the menu on the top right.
Learning Plan
The Learning Plan contains all your lessons, flashcards, practice questions, and practice exams.
All lessons are divided into tasks and indicate the knowledge points you’ll receive upon
completion. As you complete each lesson, you will make progress in your learning plan,
accomplish knowledge goals, and rack up statistics on your percentile ranking and average
score. Your Learning Plan is designed around your time frame and exam date.
Game Center
The Game Center contains all the fun, interactive games and puzzles, such as card match
games and crossword puzzles, to make your PMP preparation more enjoyable. As you play the
games and puzzles, you will gain scores and achievements, while climbing up the leaderboard.
Videos and Webinars
Videos and webinars are recorded by SMEs to discuss key PMP topics, share insight into the
profession, and train through real-life examples. Please note that webinars are only available in
the Plus version, are previously recorded, and do not provide PDUs.
Lessons
The lessons and videos found in your Lesson tab cover the three domains and fundamental
concepts of the new PMP exam. You will know what lesson to focus on by following the
Learning Plan designed around your exam date and time frame. Expand each topic to see the
topics, subtopics, and categories covered.
Flashcards
The two-sided digital flashcards contain key PMP terms on one side and their definitions and
explanations on the other side. They should be used as a memory aid to ensure you can recall
certain concepts on the exam.
Practice Questions
Practice questions allow you to answer test-like questions in small amounts, while building up
endurance to write a full-length, complete exam. Each practice question comes with a
rationale and explanations to help you learn from your mistakes and understand difficult
concepts.
Practice Exams
There are 15 mini practice exams and 2 complete practice exams. As you progress through
Learning Plan tasks and activities, you will hone your skills for the PMP and apply them in these
practice exams. You will receive score reports to help you gauge your performance and
growth. The Plus course comes with an additional 5 mini exams and 3 full-length exams.
As you complete activities in PMI Study Hall™, you will achieve milestones that will unlock
Question of the Day emails. You will receive these daily to review and brush up on your PMP
knowledge.
Score Reports
As you complete practice questions and exams, you will see your average score percentage
and overall percentile ranking, relative to other users, on the Home page dashboard. You will
also see your Top Game Scores to gauge your activity performance. Be sure to play multiple
games, multiple times and aim to beat your high score.
You will find your Strengths and Weaknesses breakdown for every practice question category,
calculated by your practice results relative to other users, on the Home page dashboard.
Complete all questions diligently and improve your skills from beginner to expert as you hone
your strengths and target your weaknesses.
Achievement Badges
You will unlock Achievement Badges as you perform certain actions, such as answering a
question correctly in less than ten seconds, making a bookmark, playing a specific game, etc.
Achievement Badges are meant to reward and motivate you as you progress through lessons
and activities.
Chill Outs
When you need a break from studying and reviewing, click on the teacup icon at the top right
of the screen. You will see a random video or gif to entertain you and help you “chill out”.
