Problem Statement:
In this digital world there is no such platform that allows you to rent different products from one place.
This project aims to develop a Web-based Application and also a smart phone application integrated
with AI based recommendation system that will help people to rent different things from a single
platform with a few clicks. There are many online rental systems, but not all products are available in
one place. In this project we will provide a platform where anybody can rent/lend anything at anywhere.

Project Introduction:
This platform has two main characters: the owner and the customer. Both can interact with each other.
The owner will put up any product on rent, and the customer will view the product, its specifications and
will then contact the owner for further information. Customers can contact the owners with live chat
provided by the application. Customers will have to pay half rent before and half rent after the return of
the product. If the product is damaged, then the customer will have to pay a fine according to the
damage. The owner will be able to file a complaint if someone does not return the product.

Goals and Objectives:


Our main objectives for this project are given as follows:
 To make a Web based Application for our online rental system with user friendly interface.
 To make a Smart Phone-based application for our online rental system with user friendly
interface.
 To use artificial intelligence for product recommendation.
Our main goals for this project are given as follows:
 To make renting/lending of different products easy.
 To provide different products to rent at one place.
 To provide an automated recommendation system.

Project Scope:
The system allows user to lend/borrow different kind of products like houses, vehicles, furniture, home
appliances etc. People can rent these when they go temporarily from one city to another so that they do
not have to buy these products. Another advantage of the system is that, people who have extra
products like Camera, furniture, car can lend their products through the application and earn easy
money. The downside of the application is that if someone steals a rented product then it will take some
time to catch the thief and it will be unpleasing for the customers.
