PRINCIPAL USES: Use Boysen Wallguard as an exterior finish for newly constructed building as well as repainting old structures. PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 15 - 18 square meter / 4 liters /coat SURFACE DRY: Thirty (30) minutes DRY FILM THICKNESS: 1.5 mils /coat OVERCOATING INTERVAL: Allow one hour before recoating. THINNING: Use as supplied. If necessary, thin with not more than liter of water per 4-liter can APPLICATION: paint brush, roller or airless spray PACKAGING: 4-liter cans AVAILABILITY: Semi-Gloss #5715 COLORANTS: Use only Boysen Latex Colors for tinting to achieve pastel shades. To produce dark shades, use factory mixed colors.

Instructions
SURFACE PREPARATION: Allow new masonry to dry for 14 to 28 days under normal weather conditions before painting. Surface to be painted should be clean and dry, free from oil, grease, dust, dirt, contaminants, and all loose grit and mortar. Treat with Boysen Masonry Neutralizer #44 diluted at 1:16 ratio with water. Let stand overnight then rough sand surface prior to painting. No need to neutralize in case Boysen Acrytex Primer #1705 is used as primer. PAINTING SCHEDULE: 1st Coat: Boysen Permacoat Flat Latex #701 (100% acrylic, waterbased) or Boysen Acrytex Primer #1705 (solvent-based acrylic, water-tight) Putty: Boysen Acrytex Cast #1711 Texture: Boysen Acrytex Cast #1711 (by mortar gun spray) 2nd & 3rd coat: Boysen Wallguard Dirt Resisting Latex
