1. HOW TO INSTALL - OPTIMOOR & TTI LICENCE MANAGER


Optimoor & TTI License Manager are a 32-bit windows application and will run under all
MS Windows operating systems. TTI Licence Manager is installed with the full installation
when you purchase Optimoor.

To install Optimoor you will need a copy of the TTi Optimoor installer, this is an executable
file with the name TTI-Optimoor-Setup_<version>.exe, e.g
TTI-Optimoor-Setup_6.07.06.exe. This can be obtained from Tension Technology or via their
website if you have a Customer Login.

To install the software double click the installer executable TTI-Optimoor-Setup_6.07.06.exe,


where 6.07.06 shows the current version.

The system will prompt you with a User Account Control pop-up asking “Do you want to
allow this app to make changes to your device?” and show this is Optimoor Setup from the
Verified Publisher: TENSION TECHNOLOGY INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.

Select Yes to continue the installation.

If you have not installed the application before the installer will prompt for an install location
as shown below:

Select your preferred install location, the default is c:\Optimoor, if you are happy with the
default location select Next.

The installer will ask if you want to create a desktop shortcut:

Select the radio button if required and Next to continue.

The installer will confirm the install location

Select Install to continue.

The installer will extract the files and perform the installation,

Some popup windows may appear but no user interaction is required until the installer pops

up the following dialogue box:

Leave the Launch TTILicenseManager.exe selected and select Finish.


The installation is complete and you can go on to set up your license key.

2. SETTING UP TTI LICENSE KEY


To run Optimoor either an online licence key is required or a USB key. The USB key is the
legacy system and the online licence key is preferred. The installer will launch the TTI
License Manager (see the screen below). If you don't have a licence key they can be obtained
from TTI Ltd - please contact Ross Morely (email: [email protected]) for licenses.

Activate your License

You need to be online to Activate the license. Enter your assigned licence key issued by
Tension Technology in the License Key text box. In order to keep track of who is using a
license within your company enter a form of User Id of at least 2 characters in the User Id
box. Once you have entered the license key and the User Id select Activate, this will activate
the licence key with the online server. After a short pause, the license details including the
serial number and Is Valid should be true and the Active box will be Green. If this is the case
select the Save button which will save the licence key to a local file. You can then run
Optimoor using this licence key, the Launch Optimoor button will start the Optimoor
application.

Offline Working

Once you have Activated your license you can work offline with the license key. To confirm
this is working ensure you are offline. Ensure an Active license key is shown in the License
Key box and select the Check File button. The Disk box should go green. You can now use
Optimoor either online or offline.

Sharing License Keys

If you wish to use your license key on another machine. Ensure you are online and Optimoor
is not running. The license Key you want to release must be active on this machine. Enter that
license key in the License Key box and select the Release button. The license key can then be
used on another machine by following the instruction to Activate the key. To transfer a
license back or to another machine repeat the Sharing License Keys instructions

Note: On rare occasions, you will not see Optimmor on your screen but it may still be
running. If this happens run the Windows Task manager and find the Optimoor.exe process
and select End Task)

3. RUNNING MORE THAN ONE LICENCE ON ONE PC


You can have any number of keys on the same PC. An example is shown below for 3
licenses.

In the example 'Optimoor Licence.txt' (stored where you install Optimoor) file below, you just
need to store all 3 licences in that file, move the one you want to use to the top as only the top
line is read by Optimoor.

If all 3 licences have been registered to that PC you do not need to do any more. If some of
the licences are registered to another PC, they have to use TTI Licence Manager to Release
the License (see ​Sharing License Keys​).

The first line is the licence key, all text on the following lines is for information only and
ignored by Optimoor.
The first line of this file should be replaced by the license key issued by TTI Ltd
