Project Title

Section 1: Rationale (Approx 100 words)

During the year I have learnt many research, practical and evaluation skills. Things that I learnt is things J and L
cuts to create something more visually interesting but also with sound. I have also learnt how to create a timelapse
in premiere pro so I might be able to use this is my final project. I have also learnt the basics of how to create a
montage but during this final project I want to explore this. Beforehand I knew how to make a teleportation but
now I can add an affect to make it look more professional. Looking at things I have learnt this year it’s made me
feel more comfortable at film making.

Section 2: Project Concept (approx 200 words)

Looking onto the forthcoming project I want to create something that corresponds in a way what I want to do after
level 3 what is something to do with football. The aims of my project are to create a football film using montages
and quick cuts but maybe even use a flashback to create something visually intriguing. When creating this when it
comes to context and research, I want to watch other student films to create inspiration and use some of the ideas
when creating my own. I want to produce a montage/flashback kind of football film what has a story that has
affected a lot of players (injury) and shows that there are other ways to be involved in football in terms of either
being a fan or coach but I don’t know what the end will be yet. The idea of my film is that a football player is
training but actually is a flashback and it will cut back to normality when the injury happens so it creates the effect
of, he still thinks about it. I want to create and use different camera techniques to create the story. In premiere I
want to create a blinking effect to create a POV shot look more visually better and to help me create that
professionalism. I also want to explore 2 techniques while creating this and those are a montage what in my case
will be a training montage and also creating a flashback. When it comes to montage, I want to use skills I learnt at
the start of the year with cutting to a soundtrack to make the training visually and audio interesting. When it comes
to flashbacks, I don’t really have much knowledge with this so at the start I will use research to not just find out
how to create a flashback but also flashbacks in past movies as well.

Section 3: Evaluation Methods (approx 50 words)

So when on weeby I will weekly blog and evaluate what’s happened so when it comes to next week I will know
what I got to do next to improve and then when I finished the practical skills part I will evaluate the whole process
fully. While working with others so camera crew or even actors this could affect me personally positively because
I will know exactly when free but on the other hand I know when with people I can distracted frequently so I will
focus on getting the work done before we do anything off work example playing football
