Tutorial 6 OpenVSP

This tutorial teaches how to create a basic fuselage and wing model in OpenVSP. It provides steps to: 1) Add a fuselage and wing component, rename if needed, and change materials. 2) Enter dimensions for the fuselage length and wing sections, span, chord length and aspect ratio. 3) Select an airfoil type from the list for the wing. The overall goal is to build and modify a basic aircraft model in OpenVSP.

Tutorial 5. V Bat modelling

Background

This tutorial will introduce you with the basics of creating fuselage and wings.
Procedure

1. First, add FUSELAGE and WING from POD to geometry screen from menu bar and rename it
if necessary.

2. Choose the absolute coordinate system and change the location and rotation of the proposed
wing.

3. Next step will be changing the span of the wing to 20 and the chord length to 1. Aspect ratio
should result in 20.
