1.0 INTRODUCTION
The design of RCC Girder for 21 m span for following Chainages are being submitted
herewith.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
The structure is individually analyzed by the grillage analysis using main girders on the
longitudinal direction and slabs in the transverse direction members.
The system, being a 4 girder system, with bearings below each girder, is analyzed
separately under dead load of girder.
Composite action is considered for the slab load, SDIL and live loads. Slabs are provided
sloped in the direction of required camber. Girders are accordingly raised with higher
pedestals.
Live loads are run in position concentric to all the 4 girders, and combinations are
worked out based on the minimum distance between the two lanes.
Diaphragm loads are taken from the above for service condition and a separate analysis
with changed supports for jack up condition.
The analysis files are enclosed in the design calculations
