Detailed Lesson Plan in Grade 10


M A P E H - Arts

Date: August 15, 2019


Content Standard: New technology that allow new expressions in arts using art elements and processes
Performance Standard: Create a tech-based artwork (video clips and printed media such as posters,
menus, brochures etc.) relating to a selected topic from the different learning areas using available
technologies, e.g., food and fashion

I. Objectives: At the end of 1 hour session the students should be able to:
a. describe the technology-based/computer arts and its influence in the Philippine art scene;
b. express the importance of technology-based art in solving political, social and cultural
issues; and
c. list the distinct characteristics of technology-based art in terms of functionality and
production.

II. Subject Matter


Technology-based Art/Digital Art
Reference: HORIZONS Music and Arts Appreciation for Young Filipinos
Grade 10 - Learner’s Material, Sunico, et. Al., (2015) p. 236 -240
Materials: Visual aids on the description of technology based art,
Sample pictures of TBA, and Strips with description
Values Integrated: Respect, Kindness, Appreciation of Digital Arts
