Supplier distribution lists are used to route job postings to suppliers and can contain multiple supplier levels. Component Overview

Supplier Distribution lists are used to ensure the proper routing of job postings to suppliers.

A distribution list is a structured list of suppliers who should receive your request to fill a job posting. The lists can
contain a single or multiple suppliers who can be grouped by level of distribution. Distribution lists are included on job
postings and can be set to distribute automatically or manually by a job posting distributor.

When a job posting that is set to be distributed “automatically” is ready for distribution, it is sent to the suppliers in
Level One. If the distribution list contains at least two levels, the job posting will be sent to the suppliers in Level Two
automatically when a specific rule has been satisfied. For example, the job posting may be distributed to suppliers in
Level Two if no response has been received from the suppliers in Level One within 72 hours.

Configuring the Solution Component


In order to enable the Auto Distribution functionality from Company
Configuration, a formal request must be made to the SAP Fieldglass Support
team.

Steps to Enable functionality:

1. Enable the “Enable Auto Select Distribution” Company Configuration. If this


option is enabled but not locked, this setting can be edited on the job
posting template under the Distribution section. (Please reach out to SAP
Fieldglass for assistance)

2. Select the Distribution Rule called “Automatically distributed to Suppliers


specified in the Template after final approval” on the Job Posting Templates.
