    ACTIVITY TITLE : Peer Education Session
    TARGET DATE : May 18,2022

    AMOUNT NEEDED : 23,200.00
    SOURCE OF FUND: 10% SK FUND

    RATIONALE:
    Section 13, Article II of the constitution, declares that, “The state
    recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation building and shall promote their
    physical, mental, moral, spiritual, and social well-being. It shall inculcate in the youth
    patriotism and nationalism, and encourage their involvement in public and civic
    affairs.”

    The Sangguniang ng kabataan aims to celebrate the youth in the barangay of


    Tagoloan and to provide an avenue for them to develop artistic, leadership, sports
    and talents. To confer with the different members of KK regarding the Sangguniang
    Kabataan programs, projects, and activities.

    Be able to update concerns and problems of the KK members regarding the


    Sangguniang Kabataan programs, projects and activities
    Katipunan ng Kabataan (KK). –There shall be in every barangay a KK to be
    composed of all citizens of the Philippines residing in the barangay for at least six
    months, who are fifteen but not more than thirty years of age, and who are duly
    registered in the list of voters of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) and/or
    based on the list of members of the KK under the custody of the secretary of the SK.
    The rules and procedures to be followed in the registration of voters, in connection
    with the SK election shall be in accordance with existing laws. The secretary of the
    SK shall continuously update the list of members of the KK.
    PEER Education Session helps the youth to know a certain problem right now
    in our society. Illuminate them how to become a better youth not doing the bad
    things.
    OBJECTIVES:
     To provide an avenue where the youth can develop their talents in culture, arts
    and sports.
     To provide equal opportunity where youth leadership could be further empowered
    through various activities, trainings and exposure.
     To promote camaraderie among SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN in the barangay
    and other youth organizations.
     To enlighten the KK members about the Local Youth Development Plan
    (LYDP) Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan (CBYDP) and the
    Annual Barangay Youth Investment Plan (ABYIP)To inform the KK members
    regarding the concerns related to the Sangguniang Kabataan.

    BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS:
    Jersey 20 Person X 500 Pesos = 10,000.00
    Advocacy Shirt 55 Person X 240 Pesos 13,200.00

    TOTAL BUDGET NEEDED = 23,200.00

    RECOMMENDATION:
    It is hoped that through this endeavor, will be able to provide opportunities for the
    young people in Casinglot,Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
