    A legendary overtake

    A wall of water, a cloud of particles suspended in the air, two thin red lines becoming
    increasingly defined as the odometer rises and the heart-rate with it, the roar of the engine,
    the rhythm of the windscreen wipers, the hue of the trees, the details of the track and the
    breathtaking idea of overtaking around the outside of one of the most perilous corners of the
    Spa-Francorchamps track. Suddenly, everything is clearer, more defined, even though the
    rain is hammering the windscreen and the opponent is right there, clearly present, on the left
    side. Door to door, locked together, at the limit of grip, courage, determination and the will to
    win. It is a daring trajectory, the one perfectly executed by Alessandro Pier Guidi in the 488
    GT3 Evo 2020 with nine minutes and thirty-five seconds remaining of the 24-hour ordeal
    shared with Nicklas Nielsen and Côme Ledogar. A winning trajectory that leads to victory in
    one of the great classics that he had previously lacked. But the beauty of motor racing is its
    ability to constantly chronicle new and memorable sporting achievements. The signature of
    Alessandro Pier Guidi will remain indelibly stamped upon the 24 Hours of
    Spa-Francorchamps along with that of the 2020 Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo.
