6. Controlling methods :

The 3 Types of Controls: Visual, Procedural, and Embedded

There are essentially three kinds of controls:

1. Visual controls:

 These include checklists, dash boards, scorecards, budgets, etc. They let you
SEE that the right things are happening, of if not, they raise a flag that lets you
make sure to focus on fixing the situation.

2. Procedural controls:

These include things like having 2 unrelated parties internally check/be


involved in the flow of money. Your standard review process for all new
hires. Your standardized sales concessions you empower your sales team to
use.

Procedural controls establish a known pathway to a consistently secure


result.

3. Embedded controls:

 These are the controls that work without someone having to


remember to do something out-of-the-way to use them. These include things
like your standardized contracts, automated data backups, and intentionally
designed financial controls that work automatically in the background to
protect your business from poor decisions or behavior.

In this the level management decides that how much the
production to be done according to the season.

b. Operational plan
They conduct small meetings in each 1 week. Monthly

discuss issues and growth. They also conduct the meetings to
join new Distributers for the chain.

9. Types of Budget Used :

The manager decides the rate of product regarding to the quality of


the product and the increase the rate according to the season
a. Here owner decides the budget for the raw materials.
b. Decides the budget for maintenance of machineries.
c. After successful development of software each developer get
minimum 40% profit.

13.Charateristics:

Very small companies are generally run as your typical start-up style.
That means that process is commonly limited or non-existent. Software tools are
kept to only what is absolutely required and what is free. Teams are kept small, as
is the company. Communication is widespread, emails will often go to the entire
company, because there’s little point in excluding the one person who it doesn’t
apply to. The group is often close-knit and may even have lunch together every
day. Management is thin or non-existent. With these strategies, most overheads are
eliminated, and because the team is so small, it can be justified and gotten away
with. Software developers are often working on a large piece or the entire product
by themselves. Getting code done fast and to market is often more important than
designing it well, which may come at the cost of having to rewrite it in a few years,
if the company grows, but it’s considered worth the risk

We are visited to Vertex Technosys. We are able to learn management


principles of Vertex Technosys and also learnt how management is actually
followed in organization. Understood that without management organization can’t
be success.
