Minecraft: Education Edition license.
• Educators will be able to check that all student logins are viable.
• Educators will be able to check that all students know how to log into
Minecraft: Education Edition.
Learning Outcomes for the Learners:

like.
• Learners will know where to find the Minecraft: Education Edition icon.

Activity One: Is Minecraft: Education Edition installed on ALL machines being

used?

1. Learners:
a. Check the device he/she is on to see if Minecraft: Education Edition
is installed.

2. Educator:
a. Check for possible devices that missed the installation process.
b. Note all devices that do not have Minecraft: Education Edition
installed.
c. To resolve issues: Follow the installation procedure with your
district. Can you install it quickly yourself or do you need to put in a
help request?
d. If a help request is necessary, wait until after Task 2 is complete to
put in the request since you will need to add missing student
license information.
e. Pair learners up on another device so that you can continue to
move on to Task 2 to check for log-ins.

Activity Two: Can ALL students log in?

1. Learners:
a. Attempt to log in.

b. Learners who can log in can help other students.

c. Learners that were paired in activity one, should log in and then
sign out and let the other learner log in to check that their login
works.
2. Educators:
a. Note ALL names and login information of students that cannot log
in.
b. Share this information and any installation requests for specific
devices you did in Activity One.
c. Management Tip: It will be frustrating for learners not to be able to
log in. Share with them that this is why you are checking this
information. You want to make sure all learners can get into the
game before you assign a task for learning.
d. Once you have all the login information ready to go, you will be
able to move on to the next module: Creative Exploration, Lesson
One.
