i. All participants must be bona fide Senior High School students of Claveria School of Arts and
Trades enrolled in all strands offered. They must register to their adviser and pay Php 20.00
registration fee.

iii. All protests shall follow the specified procedures provided by the organizing committee acting as
the grievance committee at the same time.
iv. Any violation of the competition guidelines shall be subjected to the relegation of at least one
rank.
v. For any conflict between the general and specific guidelines, the latter shall always prevail.
vii. The top 5 winners for each contested event shall be recognized during the closing program.
However, only the top 3 winners will be provided certificates of recognition.
Photo Contest
i. Each team shall have one (1) representative for this event.

iii. Photograph should be in digital format/file (.PNG or .JPG format) and shall be printed by the
focal person. The participant can use either a landscape or portrait for the images captured.
iv. Photo should have no watermark or any identifying aspect for the strand represented in order to
eliminate any bias during the screening and judging of the submitted photo. Should the
organizing team use the photographs for future exhibits, photographers will be duly credited.
v. Photo-manipulation and/or editing are not allowed. Thus, digital enhancement, be it major
alterations or minor adjustments, are strictly prohibited.
vi. Entries of the participating school should not be previously submitted or have won in any local
or international photo contest.
vii. Entries that contain obscene, sexually explicit, offensive or any other inappropriate content shall
result to a disqualification.
viii. The participating team must label their submission following this scheme:
i. Each team must only have one (1) representative for this event.
The theme shall be “SHS EXPO 2022: SHOWCASING, HARVESTING AND SHARING:
MILESTONES AND FEATS AMIDST COVID 19 PANDEMIC
ii. A canvas of a white piece of paper (e.g. bond paper, Oslo paper, board paper) with a short size
(8.5” x 11”) shall be used. Only Cray-pas or Oil Pastel will be allowed. The participant can use
only seven (7) colors, namely: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Black, and White. However,

iv. The participant should strictly make the final output. The overall content of their work should be
original.
v. The participating team must label their submission following this scheme:
i. Each team must only have one (1) representative for this event.
The theme shall be “SHS EXPO 2022: SHOWCASING, HARVESTING AND SHARING:
MILESTONES AND FEATS AMIDST COVID 19 PANDEMIC
ii. Participants may use any designing software (e.g., Photoshop, Sketch, GIMP, PowerPoint, Adobe
Illustrator, Canva and other similar software).
iii. A blank white canvas of 8.5” x 11” shall be used. The participant is allowed to use any colors.
The use of shapes, lines, and drawing tools is permitted; however, using existing images and
pictures shall not be allowed. Lifting several images and compiling them or “patchwork” style is
strictly prohibited. A participant who fails to comply will be disqualified.
iv. The student should strictly make the final output. The overall content of their work should be
original.
v. The participating team must label their submission following this scheme:

i. Each participating school must have two to four (2-4) participants in this event. One to two (1-2)
person/s for editing and one to two (1-2) person/s for modeling the magazine.
ii. The theme shall be “Getting to Know your Strand: Current Trends and Future Employment
Opportunities”
iv. The title must contain only one to five (1-5) words, and there must be at least two (2) headlines.
vii. The aspect ratio of the cover must be 8.5:11 with a resolution of 2560x1600.
viii. The participating team must label their submission following this scheme:
ix. The magazine cover shall be judged according to the following criteria:
AdvertisTok
i. The AdvertisTok is open to all Grade 11 and Grade 12 students. All sections must have at least
one (1) representative per class.
ii. Each participant must only have one (1) entry for this event.
iii. The theme shall be “Getting to Know your Strand: Current Trends and Future Employment
Opportunities”
iv. Each participant must create a TikTok video advertisement of any local product they wish to
advertise.
v. The participants can also add editing effects of their liking to the visual such as texts, filters, and
green screen.
vi. The running time for the TikTok video should be a minimum of one (1) minute and a maximum
of one (1) minute and thirty (30) seconds only, including visual and audio effects.
vii. Profanities or vulgarity, potentially harmful actions/activities, and violence captured in the video
will automatically mean disqualification.
viii. The TikTok entry should include the event’s official hashtag. Misspelled or incorrect hashtags
will mean disqualification.
ix. The participant’s TikTok entry privacy must be set to public until the end of the contest.
x. The participant’s entry will be pre-judged and shall be submitted to the organizing committee
May 25, 2022. Failure to submit within the given date shall mean NON-PARTICIPATION of the
section.

xii. The performance of each team shall be judged according to the following criteria:

i. Each team shall be composed of two (2) representatives. Furthermore, all team members shall
come from the same participating strand. Hence, teaming up with other strand is not allowed.
ii. The Battle of Mind Supremacy questions shall consist of topics from Core and Applied Subjects
of the Senior High School.
v. The competition shall be facilitated by a Quiz Master. During the contest proper, each question
shall be read by the Quiz Master. With this, the team shall only have 5, 7, and 10 seconds to
answer each question for the easy, moderate, and difficult rounds, respectively. After which, the
quiz master will ask the contestants to raise their answer card for checking. If the team was not
able to raise their hands, the answer shall be considered late. Hence, it will no longer be accepted.
vi. The scores from the different rounds will be added to get their total scores as the basis for the
proclamation of the winning participants.
iii. Protests will only be accepted within one (1) hour after the event. Otherwise, the Master shall
automatically void the protest.
iv. The Master, in the presence of the faculty organizers, shall render the judgments for every protest
based on a majority decision of the committees present by the time the protest has been raised.
v. The Master’s decision shall always be final and effective upon the team concerned has been
notified.
